$10,000 Basement Renovation (+ Bec’s health update)

After 2 years of renovating our cabin in the woods, we FINALLY tackle the final room! To get a 1 year supply of Vitamin D + 5 travel packs FREE with your first purchase, go to https://athleticgreens.com/eamonandbec Thanks to AG1 for sponsoring this video.

Join us as we turn our dingy, dark, disgusting basement into the most gorgeous guest bedroom in the cabin! We can barely believe just how great this turned out 🤩. Would you like to stay here?

We also share a health update about Bec as she receives the news of whether or not her cancer is back in her breast. Last week we received a call back for another mammogram and biopsy which sent us into a bit of a spiral after completing breast cancer treatment in 2022. We are trying to remain positive and we appreciate each and every one of you being here for us last week. We really debated whether or not to but you all have been a part of our breast cancer journey from day 1. It feels like you should definitely be a part of the story as it continues ❤️🥰☀️

Happy Sunday everyone ☀! A big thank you to this community for always rallying behind us on our health journey. We are so grateful for you! On a positive note, who calls dibs on the new basement suite??

I’m so happy you are cancer free! Looks like you just made the perfect adult get away. When you have kids they can run around upstairs.

      🙋🏼‍♀️ on my way!!

Thank God that you are still cancer Free! So happy for that Bec. And I call dibs on the new basement suite as long as we get to use one of the restrooms in the entryway to your home! since there is not one in the basement suite. My husband and I would gladly pay to stay there, for a canadian vacation.

Hey guys! My wife is a breast cancer survivor and I’m telling you that every time there a follow up check up we experience your same fears. As husbands we feel helpless cause we can only be there for you by being your shoulder to cry or your biggest cheerleader… today as other viewer said I’m a stranger that cried happy tears for you guys!!

My wife has her 6 month PET scan next week. Totally get the anxiety and helpless feeling.

I’m so happy that you’re cancer-free Bec! My mom got good news this week as well and she’s thankfully done with all her surgeries and healing so much faster than her medical team expected. Hoping and praying for all of you to enjoy the warm weather and continue this journey with happy hearts <3
The room looks great and you’re inspiring me to redo my entire room this summer!! Cheers! ❤

Bec, it is so nice to see someone openly discuss anxiety. I have struggled for years and can be super hard on myself. I often can struggle even taking a deep breath. Its so refreshing to see how you take charge of your anxiety. I am currently a behavioral therapist and work with kids on the autism spectrum. At some point I am going to apply to graduate school to become a therapist who specializes in the treatment of anxiety! With love from Seattle!

I am so relieved that Bec got good news and that she is ok. The basement turned out beautifully. Poor Orzo, but he will keep on trying to catch those naughty porcupines. Take it easy and have a lovely week end and rest Bec.

I don’t know if it was because you mentioned Lee bringing you sunshine on the scary day earlier, but I could immediately picture her in the room you built, it’s crazy how even though that project started as a distraction from stress, it came out as a room radiating sunshine 🌞 you guys are so strong! Great job for sticking it out

The room is great, and I loved the remodel. Eamon is such a showman. He makes everything he does so entertaining! However, Bec’s health news was truly spectacular! It was the real star of the show. I’m so happy for you both! Hope poor Oso is healed from his wildlife encounter.
