    THE VIDEO IS A TRAP

    That overhead shot is 🔥🔥🔥

Here’s my problem with the iMac pro: it makes little financial sense for the vast majority of “pros”. Most professionals buying this computer don’t need certain aspects of it or would want more out of others. For example video editors don’t need an 18 core, 10 core or even 8 core CPU but for the amount of money they’re paying would rather have a more powerful GPU to go with the 5k panel. CAD designers don’t need an expensive 5k panel but could use the CPU and a better GPU and yet more people have no use for a relatively powerful GPU or 5k screen but need an 18 core xeon. My point is that whilst on paper the price of these might be fair if you actually think about what *individual* person needs you’re more often than not paying for things that you aren’t going to use. And that’s without even mentioning all the usual apple crap like no upgrade ability.

Did he just say 13 thousand dollars?

    • RagingTiger says:

Thompter S. Hunson is just a nice work tool for him, he makes millions with his videos, why not having the best editing machine

    • peter dozal says:

TheSuperNort, Clearly you are not who this is made for lol. its a “Pro” computer, are you a professional? These are meant to be used by people who need powerful hardware for there JOB, like he said he is using this computer to render out 8k footage, if thats something that you are doing as a professional then hearing that this Pro computer can render that smoothly, then for them its totally worth it. Its not made for you.

    • HaykGaming says:

Its not for your average billy joe…

    • TheBigMeme says:

fate I’m gonna say that an 18 core Xeon with workstation graphics will easily beat that build for the tasks this machine would be used for

    • Bharathari Bhartiya says:

You all are clearly not the target audience for this then. You’ll be surprised that professionals actually need this.

  6. Sam Maghsoodloo says:

You are the perfect candidate for a powerful hackintosh. See if you can build an i9 or Threadripper hackingtosh in 2018 that can smash Final Cut Pro rendering. You could even add watercooling and do a legitimate overclock to even further push the render times down.

    • Proscenium Trades says:

It’s not illegal, it simply breaks EULA which is Apple’s terms. It’s not a matter of law. You are not breaking any laws building a hackintosh. You are breaking Apple’s terms, not the state or federal government’s.

    • Adam Abbas says:

Sam Maghsoodloo yea. I sure Apple would be happy to send him products early if he does that nowadays

    • Street Guru says:

      Threadripper hackintosh?

    • Betternet says:

Sam Maghsoodloo he already built a hackintosh a few years ago, he done a whole series on it

    • Michael Garry says:

      Proscenium Trades
      – Apart from copyright law is a thing, and in building a hackintosh you are breaking that law (plus other IP and contract laws) as there is no legal way for you to install Mac OS on it. Try arguing that in front of a judge.

  7. Gal says:

10,000 dollars for a 10 core iMac pro.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

  8. Andrè Bryan says:

  9. Stephen Lee says:

You lost me at $13K..! I get it but damn 13 bags for a computer..?

    • Matt Garcya says:

Stephen Lee do you know what’s actually on the computer? And it’s apple

    • tits mcghee says:

I think the point was just in general… 13 g’s for a computer is ridiculous

    • Exquisite says:

It would be better if you replaced that 1080 ti with a Titan V, more power <3

    • darknight says:

Stephen Lee their over priced junk

    • abrar khan says:

Unhealthy Life Decisions you said someone to make a list of PC parts comparable to the high end 13k variant of the iMac and you said there will be a price difference. Before that you said apple takes 7k only for the sake of it’s name. So can you built a 18 core top end equivalent machine for 6k? That will justify you saying 7k goes just for the logo.

  10. Huy Tran says:

    Is it good?
    Yes
    For the price?
    No

  11. Nuxxy says:

not a trap, but you’re paying $13,000 for it.

    • thedarkshadow says:

Normally these types of things are 13,000. If you think about it if your a professional this will pay for itself very quickly.

  12. Nugu says:

that imac stand thing is ugly af and its hurting my eyes please remove

  13. ard k says:

Yea so your camerawork has gotten to the point where you make this thing look better in this video than Apple can in their promotional material

  14. piwoszjr says:

    • Nick Nderitu says:

As a DJ I’d prefer a Mac anytime. Softwares like Sony Vegas , Sony Acid or Serato run perfect. In my experience windows will always crash when using most of this software regardless of performance . You can’t have your computer crash when doing a live gig.

    • Pritam Das says:

But that would still run Windows completely ruining the experience

  15. Mario S says:

Power is out, and I have to watch this in 360p on purpose.. It’s almost not worth it..

  16. Flackdiesel889 says:

  17. Prabin Gupta says:
