DOUGSCORE CHART:

The fact that the price point is so achievable yet so far away is what hurts the most lol
@Bob Jones Anyone can ask a price.
Sold Values- are what counts.
@Jakob it won’t depreciate lmao
The price is more attainable than its avilablity lol
@Endless Infinity they are most likely gonna keep it for a very long time, maybe not a decade, but they’ve spent way too much money developing the car to just retire it in 5 or 6 years
@Bob Jones That’s because Dodge cars are some of the best at holding their value (highest for American cars) The old Corvettes prior to the pandemic would depreciate a ton
Car manufacturers definitely recognize the influence of Doug on the car enthusiast community.
@nick kung and when it came out, it was like #1 trending
Agreed. Doug is a top player. So is Blondie. She recieved the privilege as well. She did a great presentation 👏
He has 4.18 million subscribers..damn right he has influence
Tell that to the boomers
It’s free advertising dummy
Between this guy and many other YouTubers and influencers millions of people have seen this car
I get the feeling Doug just might actually buy this car one day.
What was you first clue? The series of accolades or the salivating?
I look forward to dealerships selling them at two to even three times the MSRP like what happens with the current C8’s
Car dealer: We’re just trying to make ends meet bub. Is that so wrong?
And those c8s aren’t selling.
They will only sell them at that 2-3 times the MSRP if the uninformed buyer allows them to do so.
Screw dealerships. They need to go away.
The Side Profile is Much improved as is the rear end with the Round Quad Center Exhaust & wider stance
The jury is still out of that wing. But when are those ever universally accepted?
pretty much about every profile of this car was improved over the stingray, especially the side though with that far better intake and wheels
The side profile on the C8 was terrible, I really felt that they messed it up. On this car it looks great
Take a shot every time Doug expels the words, “Chevy says.”
Or every Time he says
„Z07 package“ and „aero package“
@Julian Harlakin you mean “Z07 package” with the first quotation mark on the top.
Chevy says yes, liver says no
“C8” is the generation not a model. The base is called the “Stingray”
He’s saying “base C8” every time he’s talking about the Stingray. They’re interchangeable. More people say “bass C8” over Stingray probably
Some day in future: 2085 Chevy Corvette Z06 revealed in 2057 by the almost 80 years old Doug Demuro 😄 It might be the possible future, if the model year will be used similar as the max. speed written on the speedometer.
2200 corvette revealed in 2086… im marty mcfly dude👍👍👍
@DragoCubX it works this way because the car wont be built until the summer of 2022 hence the 2023 model year.
@DragoCubX There were supply bottlenecks and the pandemic delayed development of the car so I completely understand why these wont be produxed until the later half of 2022
@Solomon Bonds Which should still make it a 2022 model imo. But I get your point
@DragoCubX it would be built in 2022 yes but its pretty much industry standard to release the car models a few months before the start of the calender year. Its not a new practice at all. Id bet people wont start getting their orders until September of 2022. That’s much too late to release a 2022 model year car, as in 3 months it would already be “old”
The arch of the corvette is unbelievable. From the classics of the c1 c2, to the forgettable c3 c4 and c5 to then the ascension starting with the c6 to this unbelievable machine.
Soon a Doug DeMuro autographed vehicle will be highly sought after…
(“Yes Sir, this is the actual vehicle that Appeared in Doug’s video review and its autographed by Doug himself”)
I wouldn’t doubt it
I hope not.
