Lyrics
INTRO
Yeah
Weโ€™re more solid
Yeah

HOOK – Nas
No comparison we more solid than they are
Me and Hit-Boy they say we like the new Gang Starr
Me and Flacko they say we the new Wave Gods
Shout to Max B he could be home any day God

VERSE – A$AP Rocky
Wake up out the bed scruffy, sparkinโ€™ my J
Shine my nickel plated then Iโ€™m startinโ€™ my day
My old lady called me baby told her pardon my age
12 shells in the gauge like a carton of eggs
We goinโ€™ home like Eric Cartman, chromosomes on my conscience
Hear some niggas talkinโ€™ nonsense, call up Nasty Nastradamus
Rock the pearls and diamonds, break your promise break her wallets
Break her heart and break her pockets, taking notes like guidance counselors
Aristocrat like the Chancellor, the answer to the, uh, panhandlers
The corners with the mansโ€™ is up, the jig is up, the scams is up
Yeah they hands is up, lookinโ€™ in the crowd, yeah
Tryinโ€™ to fuck the world but my pants still up
Tryinโ€™ to invest in all my Gโ€™s before we rest in peace
โ€˜Cause we sure to rest in peace
The rest is set the record set, as soon as I release
The rumors be I roam the streets with no security
They know a nigga overseas, uhhh
Kinda swag thatโ€™s passed from your mom and dad
Prada bags and we cheesinโ€™ on them Calvin ads
Mighta peeped the billboards fifty feet when out in traffic
Staring at a niggaโ€™ picture shit you bound to crash

HOOK – Nas
No comparison we more solid than they are
Me and Hit-Boy they say we like the new Gang Starr
Me and Flacko they say we the new Wave Gods
Shout to Max B he could be home any day God
A$AP Mob got Mass Appeal
Call up Nasty Nas, niggas hit the lick like ah ah ah

VERSE – Nas
Wake up out the bed, wrap my durag up
Say a prayer, Iโ€™m thankinโ€™ god that Mom dukes had us
Monotone style like Guru on some Preemo cuts
Crewneck by McQueen go nuts
Jewels over my white hoodie like Juvie in โ€˜9-8
Itโ€™s movies that I make
Peruvian white flake
It tore the community at a high rate
Adversity I faced
I roll my own gas to make sure that itโ€™s not laced
Damn I used to hit the block hopinโ€™ they see me
Watchinโ€™ Video Music Box sittinโ€™ close to the TV
I was inspired by Whodini and Kool G
Got my first pair of Jโ€™s thought I was 2-3 (Air)
Invest in all my Gโ€™s before we rest in peace
โ€˜Cause we sure to rest in peace
My shorty is a piece, a piece of mind, a dimepiece
I might buy her a piece of property
You mightโ€™a had some joints but ainโ€™t nuttinโ€™ like me and Rocky seen

HOOK – Nas

One of the only rappers that will always have a crowd behind his new shit, the classics this man has produced has earnt him top 5 status, he ripped jay z apart and been a true lyricist for like 3 decades!

    • Blessing Njodzi says:

I feel you, Nas is definitely in that top 5. But let us not say he ripped Jay-Z apart. Jigga evolved and adapted better than Nas. Jigga rocked and was still mainstream, for years, since 1996. No one has such a track record in hiphop, ever. I hope you have listened to at least 5 or more albums by each artist before saying that. I mean I’m a Jigga fan but it’s hard to say who beats who. If you got points, let’s hear them.

Esco never disappoints with his bars. Rocky was nice with the flows Love the hook. Premo did his thang. Mad collabo. Great Jam.

  5. Pinned by Moon Lamnoโ˜‘๏ธ says:

The craziest part of all this is Nas is currently working in another album which will probably drop later this year.. Naa has dedicated his whole life to Hip Hop and he has stayed real and original, he didn’t switch up and he didn’t fall off.. I love you man, greatest of all time

  6. ๐ŸŒนSnow๐ŸŒน says:

Nas be really out of this world,
Man doesnโ€™t only drop dope songs, but he ages real slow and still stay fresh as hell like heโ€™s still in his 20โ€™s ๐Ÿ’ฏ
    Goat stuffs ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ‘‘ ๐Ÿ™Œ
Rocky also went real hard on this track ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ’ฏ

  7. B.Allen says:

Everything just connects perfectly on this record. NAS & ASAP Rocky, HIT BOY & DJ PREMIERE. the video really complements the record. Good stuff.
That damn beat๐Ÿ”ฅ hearing Raekwon, Snoop, Kool G-Rap & CL Smooth on the sample, its perfect. True Hip Hop

  8. kay scruffy says:

Hip hop needed this . Nas spits truth and brings it back to when artists were original . Today the field is weak lame and pathetic . Glad this man and method making music again

  9. Optimist Rhyme says:

Like a breathe of fresh AIRRR! Music like this is like the difference between cash in your hand or a balance on a screen…this shit you can FEEL

  10. Demar says:

I liked it before listening. Thatโ€™s the typa confidence I have in Nasโ€ฆheโ€™ll always deliver quality shit. Shout out to A$AP Rocky.
