@Toraguchi Toraguchi and in the SU lightsabers cant stop shrapnel so whats your point? not only that non force trained individuals are unlikely to deflect anything
These people are real motivation ….they do so much hard work, go through lots of trials and errors and still don’t give up and try to improve themselves every time
And my definition of motivation is getting out of bed in the morning.

The pike actually looks a little cooler than a normal lightsaber, it is more unique

@Eli Good news! They’re already around! There’s concept art for a Lightsaber ‘Pike’ intended as a weapon for Darth Bane, and also there are Lightsaber Pikes used by characters in the MMO ‘Star Wars: The Old Republic’.

Pikes are in the canon too, jedi temple guards use pikes with yellow colour blades
It is absolutely amazing what you guys are accomplishing. Not many people set out to achieve the impossible, and actually reach their goal… well, because it is supposed to be impossible. You guys are literally pioneering the world’s first lightsaber, and I hope you understand HOW big of a deal it is, and how mind blowing the results have been to witness. The first lightsaber video you released gave me hope that we will have real lightsabers before I die, let alone NOW, and I cannot thank you enough for that excitement.
I like how our limited tech is returning the mysticism
back into light sabers if they get to the point where the saber is able to run like this in a small hilt it’ll probably run for a short time making it truly a last resort kinda self defense tool like how the Jedi saw them before the clone wars

I was already so excited to find out you guys we’re able to make it cordless. But after explaining the 3 steps to make it compact enough to actually contain everything in the handle made me giggle. I did not think it was possible to get there so soon!
