His music is so good that someone like me who loved new country music that wasn’t even country made me fall in love with real country music. That’s how powerful his voice and songs are. I have been listening to his music every day and I can’t stop. One of the best artists of all time in my opinion

  2. Drew Bishop says:

The best testament to his legendary status is everyone in the audience all singing along.

Especially when “Chattahoochie” was playing, but it’ still cool sight. It just cements Jackson’s legendary status.

You are so right about that. You only learn the words of a song and sing along if you love it. His songs speak to everyone

Just don’t get no better. What a heartfelt speech from such a great humble human being. Alan Jackson cassette tapes were played a lot in my pick-up truck back in the 90’s. So many great songs with a great band. Such a well deserved award. Continued Prayers Alan with your health.

You’ve got real fans in the Netherlands too Alan! Well deserved and thank you for helping me through some tough times. Couldn’t have done it without you and your music

Hi Alan 💞 I’ve always loved Carrie singing “Remember When” so that was a beautiful way to start this beautiful tribute and beautiful words by her too 💞 Dierks Bentley, Jon Pardi and Lainey Wilson just rocked your amazing songs 💞 Rockin performance by the legend himself 💞 Huge Congratulations Alan on receiving the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award 👏👏👏👏👏👏💞 Truly deserved and beautiful words spoken in an emotional but funny speech 💞 LOVE IT SO MUCH 💞💝🤗 Sending lots of love from Melbourne, Australia

Love, love, love this so much! Alan Jackson is one of the best country singers and songwriters ever. The life long memories are unforgettable. 👏🎙🎶💕

  7. Kelly Anderson says:

Alan Jackson one of the true icons of country music. He inspired so many other musicians. And all those he inspired are singing along in the audience. 🙂

  8. Brandon Morris says:

Jon Pardi killed “drive” 🔥🤘🏼 that chorus was perfect. Congratulations Alan!!!!!!!! Your music was the definition of my childhood! Thank you

    • The Refined Reseller says:

@Brandon Morris I got ya! He is so nervous at the beginning, he is literally shaking. It affected his pitch because he was not breathing properly, causing him to sing flat the entire song. I’m sure if you asked him, he would tell you he was not happy with his performance.

    • Brandon Morris says:

@The Refined Reseller I will have to respectfully disagree. The raspyness he had on the chorus was great to me. I didn’t like the first verse but I did like how he did on the chorus and ending on “drive” sorry you don’t hear it 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • The Refined Reseller says:

You may need to clean your ears. That was, vocally, one of the worst live performances on an award’s show in years. Pardi was visible nervous and off key the entire song. What he might have killed is his career. Unfortunately for him, there was no auto-tune.

  9. Andrew Rimmer says:

My favorite song from him is Small Town Southern Man. He’s simply timeless.
