I could have done without the talking heads blabbering nonsense, tell us about the car not about how some person felt about it. Love it or hate it, the NEW Z had a far better reveal, they showed the car and gave stats and specs and went into atleast SOME detail on features etc…

@Ace Inc I thought they were muscle cars
that cliche is so over used and non factual. with the exception of the C1 the corvette has out performed anything in its price range and many well above the price range all with superior quality. Even the C4 was far superior to anything close, the 944 was in the same price range the the Corvette could walk around it and even 911’s that were way more expensive. Thar cliche comes from magazine’s trying to sell product and its not close to being true.

It actually sounds a lot like a Ferrari in the high RPM’s, and that’s a really good thing. I’d love to test drive one, lol.

@Florentia • 53 years ago Corvettes not only compare but have been kicking ass against a Ferrari and other supercar makers for decades. They jumped into supercar territory with the 1990 ZR-1 and have kept pushing forward every generation. You may not like it, you may not think they’re as sophisticated, but they’re just as good and even better at times than the other supercars. Stating your opinion doesn’t change the facts. Just take a look at lap times for proof.

Wow!!! Devin Booker put it perfectly – a true athlete’s only competition is himself/herself. That’s what Corvette has done perfectly – continuous improvement relative to psst Corvettes. That’s how you arrive at ultimate performance and all around excellence and Corvette has done a magnificent job at accomplishing that!!

In a world where everything seems to be getting more expensive and less attainable, Chevrolet has somehow managed to throw us car lovers a bone. Not that your every day Joe is going to stroke a check for a Z06, but this is a dream within reach for mere mortals who save their pennies. As someone who has driven German automobiles for many years, it makes me proud that an American company achieved such a feat. Well done!
Hello from Germany!😉 For me, this new C8 Z06 is the absolute american car Highlight! This is the ultimate Corvette to me! In a World full of shitty EV and Hybrid cars, Downsizing etc., this car is a true compensation, especially for Europe! In this time, n/a engined cars became more and more rare… Turbo engined cars everywhere! But… This is it! Well done, Guys, over there!😎👍
