One more thing that disrespects Helios, is that you can actually use Mimir as an attack. Kratos holds Mimir’s head up so he can shoot a Bifrost laser that actually kills enemies, instead of Helios’ flash.

To be fair, Kratos ditching all of his greek gear makes some sense since he was weakened he problaby didnt want to carry all that stuff (especially since he did try to ditch Blades of Chaos, but those kept cming back). its also explained in game why he doesnt have his magical boons/abilities anymore, but wether that also applies to the weapons i dont know.
