Sadly they haven’t returned to the old animators that would have made it 10 times more serious.
Such a strong tone in his voice when asking to keep his son out of the games. That’s top tier voice acting.

Great story, I love the badass old man archetype. I’m sure he genuinely wants to keep his son away from the games. However it seems likely that he also wants to rewrite his legacy. Admirable and selfish, an interesting mix.
First legend I can actually say I’m excited in a long time. Maybe the other legends’ backstory has not meshed with me, but I believe this is what I was waiting for, in a game of blood and sport.
