A change I’d love is if wild dino’s had a hunger bar. So carnivores wouldn’t go after every other dino for no reason.
Also if wild dinos had fall damage and overall a better fight system other than stand in 1 place and see who has higher stats.
My dog is always full and runs after critters for no reason all the time.

@Nuke2099 I also saw an announcement they made once that they were going to implement animal migrations into the game, which they still haven’t done.
I was told animals would have a calorie system by a dev before the first game released and I guess something changed because they never implemented it.

I hope the game is amazing, take another year if ya’ll want if it means the game will come out in perfect condition, ark 1 was such a mess for a long time yet still one of the coolest games I’ve played, hope they learnt from thier mistakes and built a more stable foundation for the game. I also hope the dinosaurs have more than 5 IQ and they just dont go about killing every thing in sight, they actually strategise and hunt like actual animals, I know its alot to ask but alot of people are looking forward to this game
Everything in the steam description has me extremely hyped! I was always bummed when Wildcard had to postpone releases for pretty much all their DLCs, but if they take their time and are good with their word, this game will 100% be GOTY.
Mmmm as excited as I am, to say wildcard are good with their word is a bit of a stretch, Gen 2 still doesn’t work properly on consoles and it never will

Well that really hiked me up. I can’t wait to play and hopefully by then I’ll have a higher end system to play on. Wild card you’ve made an amazing game take your time don’t rush it out we’re going to love it no matter how long it takes even if we have to wait another couple years please just make sure it is optimized. Losing a character after killing a boss because the game crashes hurts to the core.
I’ve waited a long time for this, indeed! Saw it when it first premiered a few hours ago. I knew it the second I heard Gareth Coker’s Main Theme for Ark I in the background. Also, for everyone wondering, all the games shown at the Xbox/Bethesda Showcase, including Ark II, will come out within the next 12 months. That’s what they said at the very beginning. So, this game will most likely come out in the Spring of 2023. Definitely worth waiting for! Also, don’t forget, the the Animated Series, which, ngl, I’m a little more hyped for, story-wise, ofc, will also come out this year. Most likely sometime within the next 3-4 months if I were to give an educated guess. That should explain the storyline much better to people so that y’all can catch up in time for Ark II’s release, which would be synchronized to perfection. This is gonna be an amazing rest of the year and into next year!! Can’t wait to make many more new and happier memories with y’all!! It’s about time!
Also worth mentioning ARK: Survival Evolved is free to keep on Steam. Get it before June 20 because after that it will cost money again.

Thanks for all the information hope this game turns out well and they take their time because the last game was amazing but needed a lot of fixing. Let’s hope it turns out amazing.
From what I know some of the new features include an overhauled combat system and the dinos are gonna get a hellova lot smarter. Like you will be able to hide from them and shit but they will be able to track you and actually work their way around any obstacles you may build to keep them away.
Absolutely stunning. I’m so freaking hype for this, especially the story element! Keep up the great work Wildcard!!!
