  2. Sir Voltage says:

Jaiden: “Jacob currently has a 50/50 Nuzlocke win ratio.”
    Jacob: *trembles in random nuzlocke*

  3. Offasaren says:

    So basically:
14 minutes of Alpharad dying inside and losing his mind…

Attempting the “PERFECT” Pokémon Nuzlocke: The Salty Runback Edition

This video was like if Joey Wheeler actually built a good deck out of sheer salt of losing to Kaiba and then used it to completely dominate a major tournament to rub it in his face.
But then again, Kaiba’s reaction would probably be something like:
“Huh, looks like this third-rate duelist upgraded to a second-rate deck, but he’s still a loser.”

    • Lord Felidae says:

At first I thought you meant SaltyDKDan.

    • LucineBlue says:

God I actually heard it in Seto Kaiba’s voice. Nothing brings me joy like Eric Stuart chewing on the scenery in his roles.

    • Mokarokas - says:

@Lord Passion – I feel that already happened, because in their last duel Kaiba actually had to pull out a couple of stops, and Joey was happy to be improving which annoyed Kaiba. Then Kaiba pretty much gave up dueling aside from trying to get back at Atem.

    • Lord Passion says:

We really needed a duel where Joey either barely beats Kaiba, or barely loses with Kaiba only winning because of luck. Yugi beating Kaiba was a given, the next step is for Joey to make Kaiba eat his words.

  5. SolaireFan says:

I can’t belive it, he literally did the sponsor part like Jan in the Emerald Kaizo video, this is some REAL dedication.

  6. ChaosSorceror_Davidicus says:

    It’s true what they say:
“You either white out a casual player, or live long enough to play competitively.”

    • Nettalie says:

Gonna be the one to say it here.
The phrase “White out a casual player” would sound incredibly bad out of context.

  7. emerl2002 says:

And thus Alpharad enabled the “villain arc” mode.

Now let’s see how his “rival” will react to this bloody mess

  8. Emma Go To My .ChanneI! L!VE-NOW says:

“You’re supposed to be a CHAMPION! Yet you’re not even playing around my CRIT RANGE!”

No amount of Rawst Berries and Burn Heals are gonna help that one, Jan.

  9. Stew says:

Loving how when all comedy is dropped Alpharad’s villain arc truly begins as if comedy was a seal that held the darkness away

  10. Cephalopodman says:

Considering the turns things are taking here near the end, I think it’s important to remember that the first Nuzlocke Challenge – the webcomic one – was a loss. Talk about “you emerge triumphant or your story never gets told”.
