    • Alex Panda says:

You would be surprised at how much food we eat that can be eaten raw.

    • A quality magenta chicken mask says:

In fairness he’s a bacon expert, not a trichinosis expert.

    • Khajonsak Jermprapai says:

People outside of USA do it all the time. Someone here already mention German met…. Italian has lardo which is basically cure pork fat and they eat it raw too.

As weird as it sound… This FDA guideline is probably more of a CYA for industrialize product.

    • david volosen says:

One of the best Romanian meals is smoked bacon (simply smoked not grilled or fried), bread, and cheese. Europeans love smoked bacon that Americans might consider “raw”.

  5. G. Dub says:

    Turkey bacon is an abomination

  6. Cheyenne Oliver says:

Wow, first time an expert has gotten something wrong (though in all fairness, he himself admitted that turkey bacon was something he wasn’t an expert in)

    • Sasha Avilov says:

+V Reutermo jeni for the ice creams made a mistake

    • Tyrenica says:

No, this is the first time an expert made a mistake, I just watched the ice cream expert video and she guessed everything correctly

    • Titanite Catch Pole Plus 5 says:

He gave us all the information we needed to know he was probably making the wrong call and then did it anyway lol.

    • MonoDiTriSub GameTrailersThaiSubtitle says:

Well, he is meat expert not poultry, so, I considered he still got 100 out of 100.

    • Will Sturdy says:

I’m a butcher, yes poultry is meat so we deal with that just as much. The reason he got the turkey bacon question wrong is because it’s dogshit. I guarantee you all butchers or meat cutters you deal with are thinking, “if you don’t want to eat bacon don’t eat bacon” when you order it. It’s like asking for a tofu steak. Bleh.

Please do salt expert guess cheap vs expensive salts wkwkwk

  8. Levi says:

I can tell this guy is a 🥓 expert. Clearly

    • The Helpful Assistant says:

my son’s name is Levi. Not super popular but I really love the name. 🙂 Nothing to do with bacon, just had to comment. haha

  9. omblae says:

Even though he got the Turkey bacon wrong I don’t mind because it ain’t real bacon.

  10. Alex Ngiam says:

First mistake! But that made me happier, showing more authenticity to this series and making me a bigger fan!

  11. Daniel T says:

This is my favorite Experts video yet! I don’t know if there is something wrong with me, but I smiled the entire viewing. This will be my favorite “bacon memory” of the year!=

  12. Moxie Beast ASMR says:

nice hat, eli! appreciate him doing this– learned so much from his previous one and he gets straight to the point

  13. Sativum Coalho says:

I’m waiting for an olive oil expert.

  14. Mark Mallecoccio says:

Daniel Whittington. Whiskey. Please. I beg you.

  15. Jack L says:

If you ask me, he still got 100%. As he said, turkeys don’t have bellies, so the “bacon” in turkey bacon is just referring to the shape. As for the rest, coming from bellied animals, the guy nailed it.

    • Lamb Choppy says:

Jack L our boy is a meat expert.

    • Jeff Yochem says:

I feel like a fair descriptor for turkey bacon would be like “baconed turkey”, as in turkey meat presented *as bacon*, kind of like the nomenclature of chicken fried steak, if that makes any sense.

  16. SuperPhoenixDragon says:

Canadian Bacon. It’s like American bacon, but friendlier… and better health care XD

    • Steve Sherman says:

Canadian Bacon lives just over the border from American Bacon and relies on it entirely for its own existence, but constantly feels inferior so needs to try and insult American Bacon even though American Bacon doesn’t care about Canadian Bacon at all.

    • Arcane says:

+AlexTheShredder It’s bacon because it’s cured, calling it ham is a silly American perspective. I’m Canadian and we just call it peameal bacon.

    • Kim J says:

Steve Sherman longest and most boring joke ever.

    • Caitlin Wood says:

+AlexTheShredder We don’t usually specify it as “Canadian bacon” when we’re talking about it, but most of the bacon products that one might by in a grocery store is “Canadian bacon.”

Sliced ham is completely different than “bacon.” The differences are in the process of how they’re made, and what part of the pig is used.

  17. Shadowofnigh says:

Only video series I instantly watch no matter where I am.

  18. Blueeyes says:

Isn’t this the meat expert with a hat on?

  19. Duke Silver says:

Turkey bacon ain’t bacon, I’ll give my man Eli a pass

  20. TumblingPebble says:

I’m not fooled, this bacon expert is just the meat expert with a snazzy hat on.
