I like this slightly different tone. I’m actually really excited to see this and give it a chance. I loved the original series and I like that they didn’t try to make a carbon copy of the original. This looks like a fresh more contemporary take.

@David Revill II they might African American as in their parents are African. They’re not black Americans. Black Americans are different than Africans. They just are. And too slip these new actors is an insult to the original actors. Btw if race doesn’t matter then why are they trying so hard to cast the new actors as dark as possible. Because some dumbass SJW writers thought the original actors were too light skinned and attractive to please white audiences. If that’s true then doing now is just as bad. Two wrongs don’t make it right.

The original series was contemporary in it’s own time. You might not have been born before 1990 to understand that? The only thing that will be missing from this new version is the canned laughter as you can see where the jokes are in the trailer.

It makes me so happy that just from a simple concept trailer this show is getting made.

When I first seen the trailer that Morgan Cooper dropped I was like, omg I hope Will backs this 100%. What a fantastic look into the life of Will & the Bel Air journey that the original show didn’t show you. The original is great for what it was & I’m pretty sure this will be just as great.

  7. Vida Animada says:

It had my disdain at first. But now, it has my curiosity.

And being very honest, it looks it’s going to have my attention soon.

  8. Shey says:

This has a lot of potential, Fresh Prince was always full of social commentary, the comedy was just its genre, changing the genre but keeping the soul of the show its were is at.

  9. Jzon Azari says:

I like the way they are going about this one. Turning out better than I had envisioned.
