Oh, wait I get his joke now. Banish aka Andrew actually kinda did😂. Obviously he didn’t do it on the monster level of Ralph Fiennes, but even he acknowledged his first try actually wasn’t that bad and he overcompensated.

This is exactly the type of video I have been missing from babish. I’ve felt like there hasn’t been much “binging” in most of the recent ones! So nice to see a longer video where you can tell he took time to get everything perfect!

Agree! I think he took off most of last year to look after his mental health and well-being and deservedly so, so really glad that he’s back🙏

Great episode; the “reverse Coldstone” idea you had for the American cheese was very extra and the results were beautiful. But yeah, both burgers looked awesome and you totally didn’t need to do that. Both this and “Pretty Patties” were some of the best Babish videos I’ve seen in a while.
This was the most fun movie of last year, and that scene had me craving a burger for a week after

@Bunny Honey I rewatched it less than a week after I saw it originally (I usually don’t rewatch movies but I was talking a lot of sugar about the menu and wanted to make sure I stood by it) and I agree with you on the purposefully predictable insight, and I feel it enhances that in subsequent viewings
@Daniel Zuluaga it’s like it was made for me, a balance of my favourite genres and engaging the whole run time
I loved it too. It was a very fun middle ground between a thriller and a comedy.
@Chocolate Disco Tbh that is totally fair! I personally loved the movie as I felt it was almost purposeful with it’s predictability and I kinda enjoyed that! It was a silly movie but still a very entertaining movie though I am also biased as I VERY much love seeing a horror movie that includes culinary into the mix!
Seeing Andrew trying to unhinge his jaw to eat everything is just too perfect.
I’m not exactly sure why, and I can’t eloquently put this into words… but this video felt so perfect.
A classic Binging With Babish video with Andrew recreating a simple meal into something that does not demand 100-hundred extra steps. But he did it anyways, and it was beautiful.
Oh and can’t forget about Juparo playing in the background. 🙂
