Collet-Serra directed from a screenplay by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, screen story by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, based on characters from DC. If this movie bangs DC should focus on villain movies a Deathstroke movie would sound sick

    • Moderately Amused says:

@Kevin Bravo Reynolds would be great as deathstroke but the guy has made more money from the deadpool franchise the last 6 years than he made the previous 25 years of his career. disney won’t let him go back to DC unless they get a share of the revenue or they put deadpool into moth balls.

    • Alexis says:

We need a dark gritty r rated deathstroke solo movie for like yesterday.

    • Noneel Chand says:

      yes yes yes

  2. DocProc says:

Hopefully if this movie does well it’ll spawn some more anti-hero/villain movies from DC. A Deathstroke solo movie would be sick, he’s my favorite DC villain.

  3. Fierce Peter Gaming says:

    *THIS FREAKIN’ ROCKS!!*

  4. Charley Pangus says:

This looks super promising! DC has been killing it lately.

@Justin Lenger ‘JEL Productions’ i think batman happens in year 1 or 2, it should be bruce learning about it. the film did not focused on relations at all but in him find out wants he wants to be ( all the film its build for the bandit speech in the end. who are you ? im vengeance) he saw himself in the bandit at that moment( learning to be hope instead of fear)its not the batman from dark knight that give us an older bruce. i believe batman 2 would focus in Relationships, probably…

what i most enjoyed on the film ( i saw the movie in screen x ) was the dedective/noir style instead of just focus in action.
That doesnt mean i dont like the dark knight instead of that i love it to i just think its stupid to compare both when they are differrent movies.
I love all the spiderman movies and they are differrent.

if they followed dark knight style it would be better dont make at all because we dont need a remaster….

@Fearl The Suicide Squad was sooo bad what ??? xD

    • Josh Ortiz says:

@Justin Lenger ‘JEL Productions’ I think the intent was for it to be refreshing to audiences that do know the long exposition. The relationship this one focused on which the others glossed over was Batman’s relationship to crime and his role in it. And I think this Batman did an excellent job of showing the grief on his face. He’s a man entirely destroyed by his parent’s death and you see that in every scene with Wayne’s face. It’s too early to say but they seem to have left room for character development.. This is basically an expansion of Christian Bale’s Wayne when he was prepared to avenge his parents in the court room in broad daylight. He’s a not the narcissistic Bruce persona yet. And he’s not an experienced Batman yet. But that’s my opinion

    • Justin Lenger ‘JEL Productions’ says:

      @hashknight1 Debatable… but okay. That’s your opinion.

    • hashknight1 says:

@Justin Lenger ‘JEL Productions’ everything they put out is excellent

  5. JaxBlade says:

A Part of me misses the Widows Peak but knew they potentailly couldnt do it well in live action loll but Pointy ears possibly, tho again its always been so weird to me to see Black Adam become more of an Anti-hero even in the comics just cause I am soo used to him being A Supervillain/Anti-villain but regardless Im sure the Rock will bring it

    • Matt Drives says:

Maybe they got rid of the widows peak to avoid confusion if Marvel makes a Namor movie 🤷‍♂️ who knows why studios do things, but this movie looks good all the same

    • Louis Victor says:

BA being more of an Anti-hero or even hero by now is hardly new, it is pre-2000s, all back to late in “The Power of Shazam” series and then JSA (and complete with a lot of past misdemeanour hand waiving too, of the “it was the other guy who is an entirely different person but just so happened to have taken possession of my body real quick” variety too). Almost a quarter of a century now.

    • Legion Ivory says:

Yeah, the widow’s peak will be missed. I’m glad he has the hood, though.

    • KasirRham says:

Yeah I remember that really really evil Adam from the post crisis Era but the new 52 magneto-esque Adam was a cool character too imo. And the people’s champ is definitely gonna bring it. 🤨😎🤨

  6. Just Some Guy without a Mustache says:

Talk about the perfect casting choice, I can already see Dwayne Johnson absolutely owning this role.

    • Jonathan Cummings says:

@kim mogensen No, they weren’t as “White” as Romans, only the Macedonians and maybe people from the Delta were similar to the Romans. The Ancient Egyptians from Upper Egypt were ever darker and more African the closer to Nubia you got to, until they were indistinguishable from the other Horn of Africa Africans like the Somalians and Axumite/Ethiopians.

    • Jonathan Cummings says:

@Monjur 101 No. It means HE LOOKS MORE LIKE THEM THAN MODERN EGYPTIANS DO! Also, they could have hired an Egyptian actor that isn’t well known outside of Egypt and the movie would be a guaranteed epic fail, at least the Rock is a famous action movie star, and that gives the movie a chance. This is how Hollywood has operated since the 1930’s, use stars with Box Office appeal to make otherwise mediocre movies profitable. It’s a business, not an art form.

    • salman promise says:

This movie will give us the whole new meaning of epic and badass word. It will be godly. Black Adam.👿🔥🔥🔥🔥

    • Webbed Shadow says:

Why are you lying to get likes? nobody besides WB could’ve known that they were going to make Black Adam bald (he has hair in the comics) so how could Dwayne Johnson have been the perfect casting choice?? 🤔🤨

    • Justin Gary says:

Not really I could think of plenty of better casting choices like Mark Strong. First time I saw a live action adaptation of Dr Fate was in Smallville Season 9 Absolute Justice which was cool but it was bad since he got killed by Icicle Jr like WTFLIP 😂. This looks cool I’m just not having high expectations for modern DC movies ever since Batman V Superman which was an ok movie bombed critically and box office wise as Wonder Woman, Man of Steel and Wonder Woman were DC’s best movies despite their flawed storytelling and writing. Aquaman sucked so I see that DC is making movies about villains due to their lack of success making DC superhero adaptations. I hope Dwayne The Rock Johnson actually acts in this movie as Teth Adam Black Adam not just playing himself like he always does.

  7. Scarlett.Pheonix The Fifth says:

I’m somehow curious how the character of Cyclone is going to be handled, this is technically her first live action debut, apparently for the movie the character has been heavily reimagined, so let’s see how is going to turn out.

  8. rho says:

excited to see dc reaching into the magic/darker side of the universe. hoping to see more justice league dark/justice society stuff in the future. superhero films are much more interesting when they stretch into extreme corners like super cosmic or dark magic or gritty street level stuff as opposed to just making it all one blob. lantern corps, batfam, swamp thing, zatanna, ms martian, hawk corp, hawkworld, etc are so interesting but havent been explored yet

  9. HyungOppaHelper says:

People still don’t realize that he was ALL those things: villain, hero and anti hero. He was after all a part of the JSA. People need to read World War 3 in 52 Weeks to grasp the real Black Adam

  10. Suraj Tomar says:

This looks way too awesome than I expected.

Hope this paves way for Man of Steel 2 and a solo Affleck Batman movie.
