  7. Lonesome says:

    I believe they are going to incorporate Hannah Montana’s concept of living a double life into Miley’s episode; She goes from having her natural blonde hair to wearing a purple wig performing on stage;

I liked the previous seasons more when the cast and settings were more British….the acting was more raw and stories more genuine. Still insanely excited for the new season 😀

    • Clickbait37 says:

I think the reaso. the actors and setting became less british is as the seasons went, their budget went up due to being a success, and they could get a much bigger variety of actors (and even well known one like Bryce Dallas howard) and locations so they went with that.

  9. a reader says:

It looks a little too Hollywood, but it’s Black Mirror and they have rarely disappointed.

    • Bill Dineen says:

+Wario Wuzo I agree and I’m an American, the episodes where you really went WTF I mean REALLY went WTF. were always the British based ones. Nobody does this genre better than the Brits.

    • jakeinator21 says:

+Chara Dreemurr Ok? Then you’ll probably enjoy this season more than I will.

    • jakeinator21 says:

+Bill Dineen Agreed. Few, if any, of the episodes post White Christmas have really pushed the boundaries of human limits beyond the expected outcomes. I want more episodes like White Bear that just leave me in a contemplative stupor for several minutes afterward.

jonah brown *channel 4, it was never on the beeb

    • SwordInStone says:

+MrThesupergreg Saying something “looks Hollywood” is a shorthand for saying something seems cliched, over-dramatized, story-focused at the cost of character development, filled with “popular” distractions for audiences that want to view with “their brains turned off” and just a remake/rework of the same visual guidelines that they refuse to update or revitalize.

The day Charlie Brooker was born a genius entered this world.

  11. Mouse Vision says:

3 episodes? Thanks a lot Bandersnatch for clearly snatching the budget

  12. Steve Holmgren says:

Black Mirror Season 6: 1 episode, 23 minutes long

    • Akshay Sahu says:

Man the 2 seasons before netflix were 3 episodes each and they were the best.

    • GuyFromSomeWorld says:

+Ulises Rodríguez Well, yeah, but they should have more of a budget nowadays since they were with Channel 4 on seasons 1 and 2 and they then moved onto Netflix, and the past 2 seasons had 6 episodes each so we’re expecting 6 or so episodes. But, I mean, if they’re movie-length, that justifies it.

Also this is way, way shorter than a season of most standard shows on Netflix that I’ve seen, with mostly somewhere around 20 episodes of around twenty minutes, which makes for over 6 hours.

So let’s say the average is 6 hours. This series, if going with the same length as the prior seasons, would be under 3 hours. That’s under half a season of an average show.

I can’t believe Captain America would think about cheating on his wife!

  14. Matt Pasternak says:

Don’t get me wrong, super hype….but only 3 episodes? They better be like 2 hours a pop man….waited wayyyyy too long for 3 short stories

  15. Mustafa Adanır says:

I live in the UK and I want the British Black Mirror back!

  16. Alex Skerratt says:

This i why Black Mirror is good, they choose quality over quantity.

  17. Joshua Walker says:

I swear black mirror is the biggest tease Netflix has! Three episodes?!? Ugh… I’ll take what I can get.

  18. IvanTheHero says:

Kinda miss the British Grit from the early episodes

  19. Pelso says:

I don’t understand the cry about “only 3 episodes”.
They are makeing quality content then 3 is better then 4 mediocre + 8 shitty episodes.

(I started to watch on BBC when the first season came out)

  20. Kimberley says:

Everyone saying Bandersnatch took all the budget. Let’s be real – Miley Cyrus’ fee took all the budget.
