Bobby Flay Throws Down Against Spicy Wings | Hot Ones
Bobby Flay is Emmy Award–winning food TV pioneer and acclaimed restaurateur. Catch him Tuesdays on the Food Network with Bobby’s Triple Threat, and then again on Thursdays with Beat Bobby Flay. He also has a cat food line called Made by Nacho and, of course, Bobby’s Burgers with multiple locations across the country. But how is he with spicy food? Find out as the O.G. American Iron Chef taps into his chili pepper–infused culinary roots and takes on the wings of death while discussing New York Times restaurant critics, the evolution of Food Network, and cooking for Drake.

Would you watch a Hot Ones-themed competition cooking show?
Depends on the execution of the show. Would watch an episode to decide
I would love to be on it… I battle all my family and friends on wings
Sure, as long as you get MatPat on for an interview first.
I’d at least watch the first episode but I can’t imagine what the hook would be.
Probably one of the only shows I can watch all the way through every single time a new ep comes out.
Yeah this is appointment YouTube
I skipped last episode 🤮
Myself, and many others would absolutely love to have you on this show.
I would but idk half the people they get anymore.
As a kid, Bobby Flay and Alton Brown had me glued to the TV. They inspired my love for cooking and to have now seen both on the show warms my heart. What a great episode. Love it!
Alton Brown is THE reason why my dad cooks now. Cooking is much more understandable when you put it in terms of math and physics.
Alton and Bobby are the reason I’m a food scientist
Same
Some kids loved Teletubbies, I loved Jack McDavid and Bobby Flay on Grillin’ and chillin’!
Y’all probably know this, but Alton was on Hot Ones too
Chefs are always fun to watch. He came off alot more humble than i thought he was.
not always, but mostly, Gordon Ramsey was basically unwatchable IMO
@Moheeheeko Gordon was one of my favorites! I’d watch him over Bobby any day.
Agree! Unwatchable is right
Alot is not a word.
@Moheeheeko It was bit messy. Almost as if the sauces weren’t the only heat burning there. What a shame if so.
Bobby handled the heat much better than Gordon Ramsay did 😂
Gordon Ramsay didn’t handle it. He didn’t quit so I give him credit….but boy did he suffer!
Yep no contest
I think Rachel Ray was the most unaffected chef they’ve ever had 😂
@SeschalAndrew Zimmern was a Boss
With the exception of a DJ everyone has
I would love a special Hot Ones Episode, where all the cooks and chefs compete with the best sides to go with these wings.
Carrots, celery and ranch or blue cheese. Done
@ruck27 Completely.
Sean could wash down the heat with ghost peppers at this point, but he still drinks the milk when the guest does. So empathetic.
This is one of my favourite episodes in a long time. Bobby seems like a great guy and this was a great way to get to know him. Love his wing compliments and sauce analysis as well. One of Sean’s most well rounded interviews in a while.
Bobby Flay is amazing, and him analyzing the flavours and explaining it professionally just makes it better. This is a great episode.
This was an fun interview Bobby did a incredible job plus him telling Sean what each sauces tasted like was cool
Helps me decide which sauces I want to order!
