as someone who’s actually cpr certified, bretman was right!! the tempo of staying alive helps the chest compressions stay at an even rate, helping the heart beat again 🙂

I relate to princess in a lot of ways that I’m not proud of. Starting and stopping things, never finishing anything, hearing someone say they’re proud of me makes me feel good in the moment but doesn’t solve my issues. I try so hard but it’s never enough, but when I do complete something it’s an amazing feeling

I understand that princess has not really “done anything” that validates her receiving praise from bretman, but I think they define success differently. Bretman is thinking about improvements in career ventures, Princess is thinking about improvements in life ventures. She’s had a big struggle with her past relationship and I think she wants validation that she’s making it through ok despite what she’s gone through
