As a vet with clients who usually cannot afford medications, I can relate to this on a spiritual level. I would often change the prescriptions and remedies so that they could afford to treat their pets 😭

@SamCRDX I once worked in the city and it’s quite difficult to do this since I was only an employee. But now I co-owned the clinic I’m working in the countryside, I have more freedom. Also, the people are much nicer here so I have no problem helping them even tho the profit is less 😅

As a pharmacy student, this spoke to me. We’re always told to find ways to make it more convenient for patients to take the medicine, not only does it lessens the burden on them, it also increase patient compliance with the dosage regimen making it easier for them to recover. I love seeing that practice be included in this teaser. It shows just how much he cares for his patients but also how he’s professional and is willing to put in the work to fulfill his duties.

I just got “Anna’s Adventure” achievement few days ago. So Baizhu is the one helping for her recovery, such a great person. I hope Anna get bunch of Mora to makes her brother’s dreams to travel across Teyvat happen and pay a visit at Bubu’s Pharmacy to meet this Great Doctor.

I love how deeply rooted Baizhu’s character is into Chinese culture. We take our alternative, herbal medicine very seriously.
he also seems to write the prescriptions in Chinese characters as well (I’m not Chinese, nor do i speak either language mainly spoken in china, so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong)
@cinnabun america has a long & diverse history of natural remedies. due to colonization & the systematic erasure of the indigenous cultures, they’re underutilized & under appreciated.
@Danielle I’ve actually been thinking about growing some of my own! I guess it’s a good thing it isn’t as highly regulated, but it’s still a shame nobody really practices it anymore
@cinnabun Its better that the US doesnt take advantage of herbal remedies. Medicines are already ridiculously expensive, they’d do the same to herbs. It’s better to get your own ingredients and learn to make it yourself.

It’s nice to see Anna and Anthony be mentioned here as well. Those commissions had a story to it that I feel like people needed to see. Anna being sick and Anthony taking money from the fountain to support her. It’s nice it’s tied together with Baizhu being the “master physician” that Anthony talks about after Anna is cured. I think It’s nice to see progression and character growth that come from Daily Commissions, you don’t think nothing much of it at first, but once you realize that it had it’s own story that we get to experience over time, especially when you experience it from the beginning of Genshin, it just makes you feel good.
I feel like it was less “Anthony taking money from the fountain,” and more Anthony recovering the mora Anna keeps throwing into the fountain because dammit we need that money to afford medicine for you Anna (though I’m sure she’s not the only one doing it, which is why he calls it a “haul” in his dialogue)! I do love the reference though, especially now that Anna is healthy and wants nothing more than to explore the world and support her brother’s and her parents’ dreams like they’ve been supporting her all this time.
