    Awesome job. Way to go. More people need to be observant 24/7. The police can’t be everywhere. This is what citizens are suppose to do. Just imagine if he had the minds set of not saying anything.

      @Terri Pebsworth , calm down chair-borne Ranger. Try this for your palate; A good Samaritan is a person who does good deeds out of compassion and not because of any hope of reward. The term good Samaritan is derived from a parable told by Jesus in the book of Luke in the New Testament.

    • Danielle Lamb says:

      @Terri Pebsworth the definition of heroism…. Great bravery. I’m guessing you live there, live that pressure of the those citizens? The culture is different yet I’m guessing with your knowledge you are exclusively involved. I’m not so I can’t judge. Just proud people are stepping up.

    • Juan Honsalez says:

      @Terri Pebsworth thank you…
      You have no idea what chicago is turning into

    • Terri Pebsworth says:

      That word is waaaay over used. He’s not a hero. He didn’t run into a burning building risking his own life to save another. What he is is a normal decent human being. Anyone else passing by who also heard that woman yelling for help over the last 5 days, but did nothing to help, is not a normal decent human being. We need to stop raising people to the level of heroism for just doing normal things. Then, maybe more people would behave like normal decent human beings which doesn’t require an act of heroism, like in this case. It took an easy to make single phone call. That’s all.

    Vacant for 30 years???? That is just ridiculous. Thank goodness for Antoine Dobine. If every community had men like him in it, the world would be a better place.

    Thank God for that man. So glad she was rescued. Can you imagine a Home being vacant for 30 years when there’s all these homeless people out there.

    Since she did claim to know her attacker for years, the Authorities have his name . Now to find that disgusting individual and lock him up . And all those Abandoned properties should be checked.

  9. dano r says:

    I’m glad a real man happened to walk past that house. Most would walk away not wanting to get involved. Good for this woman he wasn’t like that.

  10. December Darling says:

    So scary! Poor woman. I hope she is able to heal from this. Can’t trust anyone these days smh. Whoever did this needs to get life with no parole because he will do it again.
