Chippewa Falls girl killed: Teen suspect makes first appearance in court
The State of Wisconsin has requested a $1 million bond for the 14-year-old boy accused of killing 10-year-old Lily Peters. In a hearing Wednesday afternoon, the state alleges the suspect left the home the two were at together with the intent to rape and kill Peters.

There are no words to describe how truly horrible this is. My heart aches for Lily and what she had to endure. I cannot imagine the tremendous grief and horror her parents must feel. My condolences and prayers go out to all those who knew and loved Lily. May God comfort her family. Rest in heavenly peace sweet little Lily. ❤️🙏🏽🕊
The sickening thing is all the people who will pray for the boy and ask that he get leniency.
Her own cousin.. this is so devastating 😢 she didn’t deserve this, this is so heartbreaking!! I can’t imagine how her parents are feeling right now..
I thought it was the Aunt’s boyfriend’s son? Where are the parents? These things do not happen overnight and he did not wake up one day a perpetrator. They start small and build to this. The adults had to be aware of something. Trial as an adult so all the information will come out.

The parents lose their child in this HORRIFIC manner & on the other side of that coin, the parents of the child who did this have to live with knowing someone they brought into this world & “raised” did such an awful, unforgivable act to their own so-called family member😩. This is FUCKED UP on both ends.
So so sad. This poor 10 year old girl should never have had to go through this and lose her life. I pray for her family to find strength to endure the pain they no doubt are suffering.

He should never get out of prison even if he is 14. It was premeditated 1:16 and horrific what he did to that girl. I cant imagine what her parents are going through.

An absolutely tragic situation. It frightens me that criminals are getting younger, more violent. My heart goes out to the victim’s family. I cannot imagine what they are going through.

I feel like if a lawyer can stand up there and argue that the boy is not a flight risk and safe to not be detained then he should go live with the lawyer and his family during the trial…. I understand lawyers take an oath, but it’s getting out of hand in this country
