I know a lot of you already know that I’m gay, but I decided to make a video about it because I had a lot to say on the subject. I’ve had the misfortune of growing up in a homophobic area and I know a lot of you are in the same boat. I just wanna let you know that it IS going to get better, even if it doesn’t seem like it in the moment. You’re doing nothing wrong by loving who you want to love. Those idiots who call it a sin are the only people doing something wrong. Love y’all.

I animate in Toon Boom and edit in Premiere Pro and use a Mobile Studio Pro to draw!

    Thank You So Much!

Me, I’m straight but I think being gay or anything like that is perfectly fine! You are You and you shouldn’t like anyone change that. Of course there’s going to be people who think it’s wrong but who cares what they think? It’s not important! My step-brother is gay and me and my family support him 100% and anyone else we meet who are like him. I hope people start making more video’s like this and sharing them to the world to get the message out there!
Again thank you and if you’re reading this and are going through this stage in life where you don’t know what sexuality you are don’t freak out! Just breathe and know you’re going to be ok, it’s tough but you’ll get through it.

It’s weird because my older classmates had feel like this. And when I grew up it was just a normal thing. My parents never talked about it nor did my church but I have a feeling that kids my age new what it was. It was never a big of a deal and I had no reason to believe it wasn’t odd, or wrong. I found out about the word “bisexual” on TV and I since I knew that I was find with either one I just thought, “Hey there’s a word for it. Cool I’m bi!” It wasn’t until I was 14, 3 years later, that I found about LGBT+ and as I started to identify myself with the community that it became a problem. People online told be I was disgusting. In church (I’ve been to many churches) at some I was told it was a sin that you can change it or you’ll go to Hell. I never let it both me though. People at my school make it hard to be open about it because everyone makes gay jokes and some I know are very homophobic and transphobic. Still that won’t stop me. I’m lucky I live in a time where it was spoken openly about because kid my never had to denial it. I just thought, “this is normal” and it is.

    • Groz'zar Kazoku says:

Who said he is merciful? He and the pope murdered their way through the middle East. Also “god” is a dick. He smites people for little infractions. Hell if your a good person and don’t worship him he sends you to hell. Not pergatory hell. That sound like a merciful and just god? Naw. No no it’s not

    • LIVEPOWER 279 says:

God did not want us to be gay he wanted but he did want us to be happy but not for a sin the Lord did not want this to happen this world is just full of similar hope he can bless you all so this won’t happen in the future

  11. Hannah Herard says:

I’m homoromantic and i grew up in a VERY homophobic household. (if you don’t know what homoromantic is, its not being sexually attracted to the same gender, BUT being romantically attracted to the same gender ) and i tried coming out to my mother, she said “no your not, your just confused and you think you like girls, you haven’t just met THE boy yet.” 3 years later my dad found out and was WAY more understanding than my mom. he said “i don’t mind you being a lesbian, as long as your not as close minded as your mother.” i was so SO happy that someone in my family accepted me. and kat, thank you SO much for making this video! it’s so amazing and your story is so inspiring for other people to come out! your videos are always so amazing and so is the animation in them.

  12. Wolfie Arch says:

    Oh well..

  14. Silver Spire says:

I still haven’t come out to my parents. They’d be completely fine with it, but I’m still scared to tell them for some reason. The only people who know are one of my brothers and some of my friends, I just for some reason can’t seem to tell my parents

    • Lilypad animations says:

Silver Spire you can do it!!!

    • HitchikersGuideToLife says:

Sameeee. I need to tell them I am non-binary and I know they will support me (they literal said that to me) but I am still so worried. So what I am doing to work up the courage is I am writing a note to myself so I know the reasons why it was needed. That may help you if you are wanting to come out. Do what you want, you don’t actually have to come out ever so don’t let people tell you otherwise

    • AlphaWolf X56 says:

      Silver Spire same

    • Toxic Tommy says:

Dude you told me but not your parents?

    • Alpaxca // Alex & Jess says:

  17. Emerson Wodnick says:

I came out as gay 2 years ago, and most of my family and all of my friends supported me. I have a grandpa who didn’t support me, but he doesn’t care as long as I don’t have a boyfriend. ( little does he know) Most of my problems are with being gender-fluid. Many people tell me that “it’s just a phase”, or ” stick with what your born with”, and it can get really hard sometimes. However I kept on pushing and standing up for myself, and things have gotten better. For anyone who is going through anything like what I went through just know it will get better.

  18. Olivia Sparkles says:

I’m happy for u there is nothing wrong with being gay

    • Olivia Sparkles says:

You should never be ashamed it’s not your fault that at first you did not like gay people it was just your surroundings!

  19. Splitzing says:

apparently (according to my sister) the part in the bible that says “man should not sleep with man” was (apparently, again) a mistranslation. it should say man should not sleep with boy
