@Undying Zombie yea its like pig where it slightly slows survivors down by making them go use the tape across the map but its not gonna get kills very often but at least some of the add ons seem to be interesting to play with
@10cody7 Yea I just loaded the PTB.. A bit disappointed about how some parts work. Though I do think the PH like mori thing she can do is interesting.. But I am not sure how well its going to be in practice.
Sadly I do not think it will be something that will truly get tested till its already been fully released and people are in the high end MMR with her for a bit.
If she could crouch like Ghostie or Pig, they could make it like she’s crawling and her head is inverted or something. I also hope her terror radius will be eerie at chase 1 and full blown horrifying at chase 3

It’s Kayako the one who crouches/crawls (from Ju-On movie), I think in US the movie was called The Grudge. I hope we can get her some day as well, really love her character.
her head doesnt invert, different character buddy. And theres no “chase 1, chase 2, chase 3” there is chase music, and then different music based on distance to the killer when you are not being chased.

For those saying she could crawl: That’s more associated with Ju on the grudge. Sadako/Samara’s pose has always been standing

@monstershagger Spirit is literally the same kind of ghost as Sadako. If they wanted to add Kayako from the Grudge, I’m sure they could make it work. Like making her crawl, the throat noise she makes, and giving her a Japanese house map

YOOOO Yoichi as the survivor is actually such a cool twist. I was originally hoping for Reiko to be the survivor but I love the creativity in using an older Yoichi instead!
@Stephen Grant if only they were actually used well (also Mikaela doesn’t have any and again her witch theme is so slapped on to her actual character it’s wired boons started with her) Cheryl and yoichi though are perfect for supernatural perks
Yeah, it makes a lot of sense because Yoichi has supernatural powers in the second movie, and I love when survivors in dbd have power like that (ie Cheryl, Mikaela)
Same i really wanted Reiko but the idea of making her son older is cool
going with Yoichi as the survivor is a really good idea, seeing how he’s kinda relevent to the original. Can’t wait to see his perks!

Never would’ve expected Yoichi to be the survivor. I honestly thought it would be Ryuji if not Reiko. This was a pleasant surprise.

@Blue Dragon I imagine so. I haven’t properly looked at the ptb yet but he might have been taken years after the events of the first movie. I recommend the film btw. A very good horror thriller. It’s on Amazon Prime.
I never saw the movie. But it shows that he’s the little boy? So did they age him to put him in the game?
I still remember when I watched the original movie for the first time like a decade ago. I was a longtime Ju-On and Ringu fan, but I was so bummed that we’d never get anything truly like that ever again. Then I hear about this collab and I almost didn’t believe it. Never in a million years would I have expected this, but boy is it welcome. Excited to relive Japanese horror and get scared shitless once again this March.
Guys you did a pretty good job so far with this game, of course there are bugs, every game has it.
This is so well done, it’s so horrifying, I am buying it, when she releases on 8th march
