Deion will be wildly successful because 1. He cares and 2. He refuses to take no for an answer. For him to bring his incredibly huge spotlight to an underprivileged area and shake up the system and give kids an opportunity they would not otherwise have is such an honor to witness. God bless you Deion for doing what’s right and not what’s popular. Eagles don’t fly in packs, chickens do. Eagles soar alone! Fly Deion, FLY!!!! 🦅

As an HBCU alum, I would HATE to see Coach Prime leave Jackson State. Still, if he does, I SO appreciate the blueprint he has already laid. He’s proven what can be done when the right people, commitment and resources converge. If I had a son who played college football, I’d send him to Coach Prime in a heartbeat.

Coach Prime is not only going to make something special at JSU, but he will also make a difference in the entire Jackson metro — and as a lifelong Jacksonian I am excited to see what he is going to come up with… GO TIGERS!!

I played D1 at an pwi, I would have played for Deion in a heartbeat. What he’s doing is simply amazing.

Here’s why I would play for Deion. What he’s doing is much more than football, he’s building young men to be accountable, to carry themselves with respect and to be present. He’s building individuals with character that will be much more valuable to their communities after their playing days are over. There’s no pwi that can relate to those kids the way Deion and other HBCU’s can.

@Old Ironsides Bro, are you the same account just posting negative comments? 😂🤣 Stop it man. You’re just making a fool of yourself.

    • Mike T. says:

@Old Ironsides Eveyone doesn’t have a father in the home my guy! Another reason why HBCU’s are important and having a Coach that understands your background. IYKYK 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • Old Ironsides says:

Too funny. That’s what fathers are for.

    • Mike T. says:

@gotem that’s what you think most coaches do my friend, but it’s far from that. Trust me when I tell you most of these coaches don’t give a damn about the players…see Tommy Tuberville, just to name 1.

I LOVE DEION, his energy and, most of all, his attitude. GO JSU.
