I already have a feeling that Ufotable is going to set the bar even higher for animation. Next year is going to be insane.

  4. TuX3d0 says:

As a person who’s read the whole swordsmith village arc, I am stunned by how beautiful and stunning the animation looks. Can’t wait for it to come out!

    • Allen Sims says:

Stunned? Demon slayer has some of the best animation I’ve ever seen. I expect it at this point. It’s the first thing I watched when I got an oled tv lol

@thiago dos santos costa Beside the fantasy elements it is by all rights a historical piece grounded in a time and place. If anything adding black characters is something that would take you out of the moment. Japanese is a homologous society, especially so a hundred years ago. Today .4% of the entire Japanese population are black. That’s roughly fifty thousands people. I assure you that one hundred years ago that number was almost zero.

@thiago dos santos costa It’s set in the 1920’s, do you really think black people lived in Japan in the 1920’s?

@thiago dos santos costa bro what??

I like how they crafted every moment and feeling throughput the seasons into a sword truly show the dedication about to be put into the next season 🔥

I remember watching anime in low quality through unlicensed websites and wishing it would be more accessible. Look at where we are now 22 years later. It is amazing to have animes come out at theaters more and more often outside of Japan

  7. Crowald says:

Demon Slayer has pushed ufotable’s reputation and pedigree into the stratosphere. Everyone knows this is going to be amazing, there is no question.

This is so exciting. I had no idea the new season was coming so soon. And releasing the first episode in theaters is an incredible idea. AND we get to watch the entertainment district arc fight on the big screen, which is one of the most beautifully animated fights I’ve ever seen. This news made my day I love Demon Slayer.
