I’m excited for a new legendary campaign. Witch queen was a big step in the right direction, and I’m hoping lightfall is even better

@Colbey Gallucci I don’t really care if it’s the same enemies if the enemies we have are fun to fight as is and giving them new stuff every expansion to make them more interesting is good enough. The enemy variety is already pretty good and the new darkness enemy looks as interested as hive guardians were if not a bit more

@Hitogami well that’s exactly what he got and he’s complaining lmao

    • Rased Alzubi says:

@Colbey Gallucci i honestly think the price is deserved considering you have a WHOLE year of content for it and you can also buy it for literally 40% off on key websites like g2a

@Loli King  I’ve been soloing legendary after coming back to the game, haven’t played since the light cap was like 500 or something. It’s still pretty easy, but a lot more fun than vanilla enemies.

@Justifano Normally I wouldn’t use a raid boss as a justification to that end, but considering how unique of a boss he is I’m kind of leaning in that direction. There really isn’t anything like Rhulk in any other part of Destiny; he doesn’t just stand in place and fire off big, splash damage shots from a giant gun, nor are his attacks mundane and repetitive. He’s swinging his glaive around, dashing across the map, firing off beams of orange nightmare energy at varying angles and occasionally punting you in the jaw if he decides you’ve gotten too close. All this while you’re forced to dance around the onslaught and focus down a plethora of weak points just to be able to hurt him, and even during damage phase he doesn’t stop trying to push your shit in. I still haven’t beaten him in earnest yet, but having come damn close and seen most of what he has to offer, Rhulk makes me very excited for what future raid bosses AND enemy types could play like.

Loving the stark contrast between the technowave Neomuna architecture and Calus’s Pyramid tech. Can already tell that this expansion is going to be very pleasing aesthetically.

  3. NexxΩmega says:

I hope that most areas aren’t closed off to strikes and story only. I like the exploration of these places

  4. Jakepopper01 says:

God I love Calus’s voice. Also cool to see we’re going back to the vex network (I think that’s what it was. The place from splicer) in 1:11. Probably my favorite Destiny environment to this day

  5. Ryan the RainWing says:

Seeing Calus have a pyramid themed Almighty just sitting there is gonna be such a good and chilling place to explore

  6. Cgaming110 says:

Love the look at the location. The neomunan architecture and calus’s pyramid architecture are easily distinguashable and both look amazing. Cant wait. Also tormentors look threatening af and im here for it. Almost time to fight some mini rhulks

  7. BigBoiRoy says:

I really loved the verticality in the last mission of the red war campaign where we were able to explore the last city. Glad that’s coming back

  8. TalenTrippin says:

I love retro-futuristic vibes in any game so this expansion is automatically gonna be my favorite

  9. Recnid says:

The game capture in this trailer is definitely a step up.

  10. Cornwalmart says:

Vertical environments have always been super interesting in Destiny, so I’m having high hopes

    • DrkrZen says:

But there’s only been one vertical environment in all of Destiny. The EAZ. But hopefully it’s as good as that one environment.

    • 606 Films says:

      No pun intended

    • ghost420 says:

@Thecanadian shameless plug: be sure to look out for a “based astocyte enjoyer” when ur doin ur weeklies, thas me!

    • ghost420 says:

@Drake Hershberger it’s all about learning when to blink. I’ve ran blink permanently for years in both pve and pvp, though i am much more a pve guy. i wonder if anyone else has done the entirety of votd with blink on, and never switched for glide at any point.

    • Drake Hershberger says:

@ghost420 I love using blink, but I can’t manage to drop a long distance and survive with it, so I only use it in the crucible.
