I feel one day Bungie will actually name a season Season of the REDACTED 😆

I’m actually really excited for this campaign. By the looks of it, we might actually see some other characters helping us out on location, probably only Ikora and Eris, by the looks of it, but deep down, I really want to see Shaxx jumping at the opportunity to finally use his Crucible skills and knowledge against Hive Guardians.

I couldn’t be more excited to play this, I just hope when “the most destiny content ever” was said, it was a serious statement and not something that gets forgotten and left blankly said in this video. Other than that, I’ll be damned if this isn’t the best looking DLC and campaign/raid/dungeons I’ve seen in destiny since Forsaken.

@profane it’s not believable, because things never live up to the hype. EVER. How old are you? This is a yearly thing, Destiny has been lack luster in everything that wasn’t Taken King. Even Rise of Iron, which was phenomenal, was lack luster compared to the hype surrounding it. only reason I could possibly fathom things getting better is because Sony purchased bungie, so they will have access to far more resources than they had even under Activision

@Andrew I mean we’re getting 4 seasons, a new expansion with loads of changes + new mechanics + replayable campaign, 2 brand new dungeons, a new Raid, a revamped raid, etc, etc… With Beyond Light we got a pretty content heavy year tbh and if they so much as make the first season of the year strong then it’s definitely believable.

    • Prevail says:

Note this is based on the ENTIRE YEAR, not just the expansion, wq may be smaller than forsaken but the year itself will have more content than forsaken via seasons etc

    • KapnKrunch says:

@Lingz that was a rough one… When he would start trucking at you that’s just when more shanks would spawn.

    • Andrew says:

@Max King The same thing is going on with Halo Infinite rn. The community is just eating everything up. Everyone seems to PREFER being lied to and treated like morons.

I feel like Savathunn wielding the light will really push the Strangers message about how the darkness or stasis isn’t necessarily evil, it’s a tool and what matters is how it’s used. We’ve almost seen it with Ghaul before, he used the light against us and basically became a god but the traveler kinda deleted him before he had the chance to do anything. Now with Savathunn and her lucent brood, Stasis may be seen as a good counter to her.

  5. Mmmph says:

I love that Caitl is using the light-suppressing tech Ghaul used against us in the Red War, but against the Hive now.

Love these behind the scenes stuff. Kinda wish they did more

This is the time where Destiny is at its peak. The Taken King expansion from Destiny 1 is my all time favorite expansion. I’m hoping The Witch Queen changes that.

I’m getting pretty excited to play this DLC. I’m sure that y’all have been smoothing out the details in it and that it will be pretty stellar

I just find it odd since the announcement of the hive getting our powers everyone is speculating how they got it but no one has referenced a cutscene in d1(its like the 3rd cutscene) where they arrive on the moon in front of a hive door next to a dead guardian and the ghost says “where is his ghost” this could literally be the precursor to what we are about to get into. Something that happened like 30 minutes into first playing D1

  10. Aetherian says:

Ya know…that is probably the most gitty all of them have seemed since Forsaken. I am very much looking forward to this now.
