Following Pokemon and customization, that alone makes it loads better. (even on the chance that we still get the OR/AS treatment and not get Platinum content)

@Dad_Shoes They were probably referring to the cave shown at 2:37 and 2:48. It’s the one from Celestic Town, though I don’t recall if it ever had an official name in game.

    • Dad_Shoes says:

@Yuki Oshiro They probably were, but they were saying that it somehow proves Platinum content was in this game. That cave was in Diamond and Pearl.

    • Albert Linder says:

@Dad_Shoes I feel like even with this map, there’s the off-chance that they’re still holding back some information about both games. Idk, I’d like to wait and see rather than just straight up judge. (No hate or anger in this comment, just saying that peeps should be patient still. I mean it’s just August rn)

    • Susan Kornas says:

      What’s wrong with ORAS?

    • Dad_Shoes says:

@Albert Linder I appreciate the rationality. I know it’s probably not going to happen, but *something* has been making me think you’re right that there’s more to these games. Diamond and Pearl are the games with the theme of space and time. Because Team Galactic is looking to manipulate them for their goals, I’m hoping that the world’s appearance changes during the game’s climax. The distortion will make everything full-scale as opposed to chibi-style, and you can go back and forth using Dialga or Palkia. If not that, then something as surprising.

Trainer customization, ball capsules, and a better underground!?

    This trailer did not disappoint!!

  3. Seeker of All Formulas says:

Oh hey, they actually made contests into a more interactive minigame. I might actually play them for once.
I never saw much of a point in selecting accessories and moves for an audience when I could just do battles with a more sensical feedback on what I’m doing. Making them into a minigame was the best way to improve them, IMO.

Yeaaaah, this contest looks way more fun and real than previous contests. So hyped

    • Willow says:

Reminds me of the ORAS contests mixed in with Taiko

I haven’t interacted with the Sinnoh fanbase very much, and my girlfriend kinda had to tell me that I made a huge Captain Obvious statement right here since even most Sinnoh fans agreed that Contests are the one thing the original games could use some improvements on. Woops.
Glad to see people being hyped with me regardless, though.

I forgot all about the joy I felt putting stickers on pokeballs back then, I’d put all the thunder ones clumped together.

  5. Patterrz says:

Stickers is all I care about, the game is saved

This is a huge improvement from the last time we saw the game… um I’m very excited!

    • Ned Rostram says:

The build we saw in the original trailer was from late 2020, so it was obvious a lot of aspects from the game would be changed before release. TPC is very sensitive to any sort of criticism from their franchise, and the biggest issues for both of these games were visual presentation and frame rate which were addressed for this current build. This also bodes well for LA and possibly BDSP getting future visual updates by release.

Not at all, you kids forgetting Pokemon Battle Revolution. A game with better animation and art style that came out with D&P

    • Randy Morel says:

@K ñ I may have seen that game in an “All Bosses” video?l.

    • Sheridan says:

@Evalid Tyzon SWSH was the biggest disappointment since my dad didn’t come home from buying milk
