It would almost be a shame to do it now as the tiling looks so good but I was picturing a room within a room: you enter the pantry which is actually a lift and it carries you to the tunnel (hydraulic lift?) but around the lift is an identical pantry. If the top of the lift’s ceiling was a floor, it would be impossible to tell that the room was slightly larger without the lift in there.
When I first came across your fireworks video, I thought “I must know this man” and ever since, I have been absolutely gobsmacked every time. This series has outdone everything to date, even in its simplicity. Thank you for making the world a better place Colin.

What an honour for Colin, the richest man in the world is watching his videos!
I couldn’t be more proud and excited at one point I was so giddy I was shaking. It was so exciting to see it come together. This mans is living the dream.
My question is: How do you foresee the tunnel/bunker holding up to moisture and rust? I’m concerned that the moist ground will cause the metal to corrode through, potentially with the concrete accelerating sweating.
I would absolutely watch more digging videos!
Some ideas: A mini (one person) elevator down from the pantry would be soooo cool! I also think you should cover the part of the tunnel that is done with a plastic sheet hanging from the roof of the tunnel to the floor so that when you dig the other direction, dust doesn’t get everywhere on your new carpet:)
Also: question for the Q&A: who is your friend that has helped build the tunnel? He deserves a massive shoutout!
