Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within. The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Oscar® winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s eccentric, but lovable father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.

To those of you still upset about Emma, let me tell u something. Ever since I was 4 years old, I have always loved Belle. Beauty and the Beast was the movie I watched in the car during vacations, road car trips, and even before I went to sleep. I always envisioned Belle in my head and wished to be like her. I’m 17 now and let me tell you, Emma doesn’t act as Belle. She IS Belle. Brave, intelligent, and like me, she LOVES books. She does and WILL do the role justice. Belle also sings wonderfully and Emma has a LOVELY voice. Trust me when I say I have heard WORSE singers and Emma is NOT one of them. Emma is MY Belle and we should ALL support her. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
    Sincerely,
    Gabby G.

Just STOP with the spoilers already! We get it: it’s gonna be a great movie, we’re all psyched to go see it, but don’t show us twelve trailers, or else we’re gonna be forced to put them in order and, voilà, we have the movie…

  13. Hiccup Pollux says:

i hope people who says emma isn’t the perfect belle will die. they don’t deserve to watch the movie

  14. Christian Salgado says:

Do people still hate about what the beast looks like yes I agree that the beast look like Satan, Krampus or a goat man and saying that the beast is ugly, but seriously he’s a beast he’s suppose to be ugly beside, the story is basically telling anyone is to not judge a person or a beast by their looks and they are all beautiful or handsome inside and out.

  15. Hunter N says:

The one thing I’ve always wanted… huh, well for starters, I’d like Emma Watson to not be in a part where it’s obvious that she doesn’t have any natural voice talent. They should have hired an actress that can carry vocals rather than just look like Belle. That’s what they do in every other hiring for musicals, they see how they sing. They don’t just go “hey we can auo-tune just a lil bit.”

  16. Conde Zafiro says:

No one appears in a TV spot like Gaston!

The only thing Emma Watson can’t do, is not mix up the best picture winners.
