Is he the Nepo Baby of the Month?
I thought Donald Glover left the United States with “This Is America”.
Easily the best interview you guys and gals have done
Donald talking about community makes me so happy, and he basically confirmed he’s doing the movie
@Nick Oliver coined and minted
@rocco mars stop trying to coin streets behind
tears in my eyes
@GoodTimeCharlie you’re streets behind
Community of what? Nepo babies?
Gambino’s originality, creativity and versatility cannot be matched by anyone in our generation.
@Clark Parker I was about to say the same thing.
Are you saying..GAMBINO IS A MASTERMIND?
Him, Frank ocean, and The Weeknd are a different breed
Hold my beer
Okay, calm down on focus on your real life
Donald talking about Community is exactly what I came for! Love to see it!!!
It’s crazy how underrated he thought the show was
The degenerate look that ZOG wanted at the time. The real life story of every single pop “star”.
Troy and Abed in the mooooorning, at night lmfao
Don’t tell me what to love!
I think this is actually the first time he has confirmed for real that he’s doing the community movie. He’s never been more definitive than that.
He is low key one of the biggest minds and talents of our generation. So much creativity but all so humbly delivered.
Crazy how many great things came about in his career by chance. Just comes to show that he is a master of seeing opportunity where other’s don’t
@WhiteyArts you should come back after you watch the video.
@ShapeyFiend But what does he have to do with those shows?
He famously got a job writing for 30 Rock by submitting a spec script for The Simpsons, which is like… an unspoken rule NOT to do. Like, if you say you’re writing a spec for The Simpsons people will outright laugh at you. He’s just that good.
if you think that’s how the industry works then sure 😂😂😂
I think anybody could have seen ahead of time that Wednesday and The White Lotus were going to be a hits.
I really appreciate the editing of this video and how it’s not clipped and shortened. Clearly he has a lot of wisdom and stories to share and it feels like that’s being respected here by just letting him talk and go off-topic as his brain flies around
@TippyHippy literal mind flashbang lmao
His explanation of why Atlanta s3 feels weird is actually genius and makes me appreciate it so much more
weird cuz i was season 3 hater till hearing his version make me wanna watch it again
Its honestly one my favorite parts of any television show. That season almost literally transported me.
He is the reason we are getting Across the Spider Verse.
@sunky Asisa low key donald glover was the inspiration for miles morales. AND HE GOT TO VOICE HIM ONCE
@Julian R It’s like you didn’t read his comment lol those things have nothing to do with each other
For the people asking why, he brought Miles into the mainstream in the Web Warriors mini series in the Ultimate Spider Man show by voice acting him, without that addition into a place outside of comics, no one would even care about Miles.
@Ronald Retana “um akshuwaly” when they were announcing casting for the Amazing Spiderman movie initially, it was going viral that people wanted them to cast Donald as Peter. The pajamas were Donald and the writers acknowledging it. ❤
@Ronald Retana I’d like to add that the scene even made it to Uncle Aaron’s TV screen in Into The Spider-Verse.
It was playing while Aaron and Miles were talking after the kid snuck out of his dorm.
