If Adonis did all the rapping and Drake drew the cover you would have gave it a 10/10

  2. chip steinberg says:

when he said “the next line will have em like woah, i been kissing white boys since 2004!” it truly moved me!! congrats drake 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

  3. Alex Burdzy says:

fun fact, slime you out is one of the rare #1 hits with a 6/8 time signature

  4. JPEGMAFIA Slander Acct says:

“I had way badder b1tches than you”
He says while probably holding back tears and shooting darts at a picture of Rocky after recording.

  5. 戦利品くちばし says:

Can we get this man to make a album that’s not over an hour long

  6. Jack Murphy says:

I think we took all the dogs as “for the boys” or something like that. But it seems like for alll the dogs means for all his fans. He has music for the fans of his rapping, his r&b, and experiments with other sounds as well. While it isnt done necasarilly well throughout, i think its him trying to give an album for everyone.

Well, that’s lame and it worked out exactly how it should.

    • VISION says:

      Terrible result

    • SURPLUS REVENGE says:

aside from that not changing the quality of the album, what you say is true for most drake albums since Views. It’s not some new approach or direction

Which is why I hate fan service. I love Tupac and Jay z for slightly different reasons. Tupac in his Makaveli mixtape era felt like he kept evolving, and as you know a rapper’s discography was largely autobiographical, an artistic expression of their struggle. And Pac kept going though shit and putting himself through shit (like Jordan would make stuff up to “put another log on the fire”). This kept his music very interesting and relevant at the same time. It was almost non algorithmic, his growth as an artist, since his situations, his relationships, his growing list of enemies, his honesty and immaturity gave us something we’d probably never see again in real music.

Jay-z is somewhat similar. He rapped about his relationships but it was more suit and tie, more corporate. His growth was from selling on the streets to becoming partial owner of a team, to becoming a sport’s agent, marrying that girl, having kids, what it’s like being black and trading with white wigs, etc. He was one of the best at making money in a variety of ways and rapped about it in a unique yet autobiographical way (imagine white CEOs doing the same thing, and not just a band with no corporate experience).

So it’s sad to see Drake take this lane of fan service. The individual experience, expressed artistically, is the rarest thing one can find on Earth. Instead we’re getting popular opinion and requests congealed into wax.

I came to the same conclusion

  7. Luna ☾ says:

I was very proud of drake for coming out as bisexual on this album after previously stating he was a lesbian, inspiring character development!

  8. owl says:

Fantano giving the album a higher score than the NFR boys proves we’re living in a Twilight Zone episode

  9. Curly B says:

Anthony giving this basically a 6 is actually surprising, lots of Drake stans don’t even like this album

    • ToAsTOnDeck says:

Idk I like the album. I don’t see what’s so bad about it. I get it 6.5-7

    • Artist Account says:

I thought it was gonna get a not good. But maybe melons standard for drake has dropped
He gave lil pump the same score as mbdtf because he doesnt expect much from pump.

    • C says:

I hate it, first interlude is unironically harder than all the other tracks, 2/10

    • Ihy Christian says:

@C it’s not a 2 but I definitely agree with the intro being the best. I added 5 total songs to my playlist and none after track 11 lmao disappointed after hearing Virginia Beach

    • My Weird Second Channel With A Pretty Long Name says:

i give it a 3. drake is overhyped and how people let him get away with releasing trash albums like this is beyond me.

  10. Charlie Malick says:

Drake is like the McDonald’s or Marvel of rap: he’s insanely popular and always does well even if he drops complete garbage, gives out material that’s palatteable but nothing great, and you’ll forget everything 30 minutes after you’re done with it.
