From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, “Dumbo” expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. A new trailer, images and poster are now available. The trailer features Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Finley Hobbins and Nico Parker.

Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

I am unsure the kids were needed in the movie?- like why not just the talking mouse as before? It told the story perfectly well with MUCH less characters. More characters doesn’t always mean a great movie. Though it does seem to be staying mostly true to the original, the fact they comepletely take out the mouse that helped him and replaced him with a bunch if other annoying side characters is a bit upsetting. I’m still gonna see it but nothing I’m to excited for…

This could definitely be really good. This has the potential. Just don’t have the kids be the main focus and if they don’t find money fast there their joke is taken away. Don’t pull a Smurf’s.

Just have dumbo be the main focus guys. We can do this.

Two Disney movies in one week!? Alongside David Pearson’s and Stan Lee’s deaths and Detective Pikachu movie?! I thought this was the sequel at first until you get to when Dumbo’s mom was taken away. I’m calling it right now The Lion King will be next.

The CGI Dumbo looks cute but I am afraid Disney has missed the mark as to what made Walt’s Dumbo so great. This movie looks too focused on the human characters. The children look boring as hell. Why did you replace Timothy with 2 dull children? Timothy and Dumbo’s friendship was a main emotional chord in the original. Does this Dumbo even talk? Dumbo is about the animal characters with humans in the background. I love Michael Keaton though. Sigh.

Not having Timothy was a huge mistake he played a pivotal part in Dumbos journey Surely cost em more to pay the kids than to CGI a mouse
