As a man suffering from alopecia — which we men usually call “going bald” — I would be DELIGHTED to hear a joke that basically meant, “I think you look like Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction”

The true irony of the slap. You’re exactly right: if he would have stayed in his seat and fake laughed no one would have remembered the joke. Now the joke will be immortalized and his wife’s name will be in everyone’s mouth.

@Fotios Tsingos I think it is less about age and more about women and their inability to take a joke or even grasp the basic concept of what a joke is.
53 year old Will Smith slaps 57 year old Chris Rock and 66 year old Bill Maher and many others always make it about the newer generations and their “snowflakeness.” As a man in his 40s, I can honestly tell you people 10, 20, 30 years ago were quicker tempered. What did you say about my girlfriend!? Then a stupid bar fight breaks out. people have such short memories.
We know Bill Maher is a smart man, but that “explanation” was brilliant!
@abu abdo alwaheed well considering he tries to be a comedian as well as a political talk show host, you can’t expect him to also be an expert on the nuances of theology or foreign policy. That’s why he brings guests on the show.
I like him, he is witty, but little shallow on general knowledge, especially when talking about international affairs and religions he is very shallow but he acts like he knows it all
