Actually looking forward to parts 3, 4 and 5.
oh wow, a community channel copy cat minus the funny
Julie you are funny, but you should stay away from political statements when you don’t understand what’s going on. Defining someone by the colour of their skin is racist. Calling white people privildged is an abusive term – you can’t tell someone that they should feel guilty because of where they were born and who they are. That’s how narcissistic brainwashing works. It leads to self-hate and to people actively acting against their own self-interest.
Also, please stop making lysol jokes. Trump never said that. The media is twisting words and is doing so to turn the population into professional bullies. It stops being funny when you see such a large part of the population being ‘activated’ to behave like bullies and twist words almost on a weekly basis. This deeply changes how people behave towards each other. It’s another form of brainwashing.
You really should think a little deeper Julie.
@Kreepi Krawli I’m going to take a wild guess here and you’re not black.
@Bryan Ok, but a large number of people are subjected to violence, repression and provocation because of the colour of their skin. Do you think that is ok?
I’m in awe as to how terrific the writing is; and the editing no less! One of the most convincing clone conversations I’ve seen in quite some time, with some real-talk messages that resonated with me quite deeply. Thank you for making these!
“Have you hit the murder hornets yet?” – I have not laughed so hard in months.
Probably funnier if you’re a US resident? 😁
How about injecting Lysol.?. 😂😂
hey. european here, what is up with that murder hornets thing? i heard that there was something but i dont know what exactly
2020 will be one of those years that will take a whole chapter in the history books.
like 1969
Can’t wait to see all those libraries stocked with many seperate stories
Yep, and more because of the “2020” year. It looked so promising, so futuristic at some point in the 90’s / early 00’s.
at least is easy to remember, 2020 is a “simple?” number XD
@Nora Pastoret yeah, shit sure hit the fan 20/20
“Nothing surprises me any more.”
Yeah. Just yeah.
Seriously though, well done for taking awful things we can’t change and making them comic, then taking awful things we can change and just saying “Yeah, we need to fix this”
That is a real skill.
Agreed. I was tearing up. Well said.
Absolutely! I definitely became misty near the end.
Today’s Gospel
Reading of the holy Gospel according to Saint Mark (14, 12a. 22-25):
On the first day of the Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb was sacrificed, while they were eating, Jesus took bread, and pronouncing the blessing, broke it and gave it to them saying:
Take this, this is my body.
Then he took the chalice, pronounced thanksgiving, gave it to them, and they all drank. And he told them:
«This is my blood of the covenant, which is shed by many. Truly I tell you, I will not drink the fruit of the vine again until the day I drink the new wine in the kingdom of God. ”
Lord’s word
“I could really use some good news”. Hard same, Julie from April. Hard same.
Oh dont forget the locusts affecting multiple regions
Oh it’s not a major event unless it hits the “western” countries.
@nikhil reddy yeah that’s when everyone starts to pretend they care
@Afia Jabeen They’ll care when there’s food inflation / shortages =)
does it count as “western” enough if it hits the south of Europe? bc word is that the fucking locust plague MIGHT reach Spain so uh. THAT’S fun
I can’t decide if this is the funniest thing ever or just plain depressing…
Also i kind of like how June Julie just looks older and more functional than fun. Hopefully that’s a deliberate style choice.
was thinking the same thing.
@BRIAN FL are you guys thinking April Julie was actually filmed in April?
@DesertShadow that is the only possibility I choose to see.
When you see that she is reading Paradise Lost.
the Julie from 2021 will come to the one in June 2020 and say : buy guns, train to use them, stock on food and grow a garden in the countryside!
Jokes aside. She should do this. The worst hasn’t happened yet.
I’ve lived at my current residence for 7 years now… and this was the year we turned up soil and started a garden… not out of a “need to check off an item on the old bucket list” or “I’m bored and want something to do” but rather for “prepare for whats coming…” :/
I love the way you delivered the message in a very intelligent manner, stay safe and love you
Ps: consider me Julie from the future lol I would like to tell you things will get better soon, I am in China the situation was terrible here, but the current situation is totally different, people act as if they don’t know what’s covid19 🤔yeah to this limit things are fine here and it will be everywhere
2020: the year that keeps on giving.
Why are you so crazy, 2020? Why can’t be normal like the other kids?
me: oh she made a part 2!
me: oh… theres a part 2…
Hahahaha right?!
I love this so much! Please don’t let there be a part 3.
April comments: who’s here during quarantine
June comments: who’s here during curfew
Curfew was lifted yesterday here and my sister went to her first protest, we can get through this.
September comments: I can’t believe the hit sitcom, “It’s Corona Time” is finally on Netflix! I mean seriously, it’s Almost better than the 90’s hit “Friends”
July comments: who’s here in asylum after the san andreas earthquake
@pHD77 well right now, plenty of hair, too much.
July: who’s here under martial law
December: who’s here because they can’t work because they refused the vaccine
I thought 2019 sucked. Such quaint times.
I have very little hope for 2021.
Alex C yeah for a bigger meteor…
I can’t even remember 2019. It seems like such a distant memory.
@Snatched. What even was the big issues of 2019?
I can tell you. In October 2019 I was “just 6 months of shit, Wimpow, and then everything will be alright”.
Yep.
Edit: (6 months was my calculation for being done with a lot of troubles I had, not a calculation to the end of year)
You know 2020 is bad when this becomes a series
@Kosh 963 good rule!
Just wait till she meets December Julie
On second thought I’d rather see December Julie meet January Julie and April Julie right after there big talk
@Creator Я CURSED COMMENT.
Nope. This is how civilizations grow up.
@Mulberryman it will be like a round table Alcoholics Anonymous meeting
Past Julie: it’s soooo crazy
June Julie: *raises eyebrows* yup…
The Vague Prophecies Time Traveling Julie is definitely the best mini-series of 2020.
I have no sense of time in this quarantine so when she was saying what month she was in i had to backtrack a bit
I live in a Latin American country, we are located in the current center of the pandemic, which is why we are at the highest moment of infections and deaths. The end of the lockdown looks so distant, every day we hear of the political fights and how the economy is going down. And we are also dealing with a freaking storm that has destroyed houses, left a lot of people dead and missing to the point were we had to stop even the online classes.
I swear every moth is getting crazier.
