No words. My heart goes out to his wife, kids, family fans and to his band mates, especially Dave.

    • Csongor Árpád says:

It was Dave’s indirect fault for forcing the “vacxene” on Taylor.

    • Jake Smith says:

      Not another drug overdose.

      Dave Grohl murdered Taylor Hawkins.

      He’ll be missed for sure.

@Matt Cruz neither do I want to bow before a make believe ghost in the sky. 1 Cor 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Cor 1:21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. James 4:6 God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. Prov 16:25 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Believing in God is not something you do on your own. Not all who live are called to believe. Rom 9:22 What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction. Some people were created for destruction to demonstrate His power and mercy to those who believe. God requires humility and submission and not your own understanding. I will pray for you Matt Cruz that God gives you eyes to see and ears to hear and that He has mercy on you and that He gives you the faith you need to believe in Him to save you from destruction in the next life but life more abundantly in this one. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Jesus’ words. After receiving the faith to believe in Him, Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, you can then experience His power and then know that He IS real and not a fairy tale. I’ll fervently pray for you and will trust the He will work on your heart.

Always had a smile on his face while playing, glad I was able to see him many years ago, Rip Taylor!

  3. Dennis Christiansen says:

RIP TH. You made an impact as a person and musician. You will be missed

I’m still in shock over this. I obviously didn’t know him, so I can’t imagine how difficult this is for those who did.
    RIP Oliver Taylor Hawkins

  6. Andrew Hoel says:

So devastating for the people in the crowd, for his family back home, his band mates ready to rock another gig. I just hope he passed peacefully and without pain. We must know, he was out there doing what he loved to do. What a talent, 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

@An lace Well they ain’t gonna say it was the special juice are they? Of course they are gonna say it was other drugs, not the one that has been pushed for two years

    • L Ferreira says:

@Devi_916 I dont know, but we all have an instinct based on all avalable information.

    • Devi_916 says:

@L Ferreira How do you know? You got a source for that?

    • Shane Richardson says:

I figured it was drug related, now we know. The death of someone is tragic for the people around them, but I have little sympathy for someone who takes their own life or overdoses

    • Devi_916 says:

@The real me Maybe he’s the one on drugs… He seems oddly invested in Taylor’s death and the people mourning him despite him claiming it was an overdose and that he “doesn’t understand” people’s sadness over it.

I’ve been to several Foo concerts from the mid-90s up through the 2000s in USA, NZ, Germany, Netherlands, and Taylor was like the co-starring act much of the time, sometimes grabbing the limelight from Dave all in good fun. He was such an energetic vibrant youthful talented person and true rock star. Like many many fans around the world we mourn and remember this great musician and human being. Gone WAY too soon, 50 is still young if you’re young at heart which he was. Condolences to his wife and kids.

This is a huge loss to the rock community

  9. Film Crow Studios says:

I can’t believe it. He was one of my heroes. Well wishes to the family, and the band. I can only imagine how incredibly difficult this must be.

  10. Juan Mitchell says:

Truly shocking and devastating. A tremendous loss. My heart goes out to all those who knew him, his wife, and the band.
