Main reasons why coaches dont want to call timeouts towards the end is because on this case, Kerr didnt want the Lakers to set up a defensive play. Thats one of the things people dont get. Plays dont only happen while youre on offense. Same thing applies in the NFL or any other sports really. Kerr is a great coach and he believed in his players on the court at that time to make a play but again in this case Lakers just played better defense. Especially the Lakers’ guards trying to make it difficult for Steph and Klay. Great win. Lakers in 4. 😅
