That’s because you didn’t grow up with it. Multiple generations have passed, I’m sure it was extremely popular around the WWII era where they were exclusively shipped to soldiers
@Minkey Mouce They’ve used the slogan at least until the 90’s. You can find commercials for M&M’s from the 90’s that use it
But undoubtedly if you’re under 20 then there’s much less of a chance that you would’ve seen or heard it but it’s very iconic because it’s known by most people.
Also nowadays people can skip most ads so you wouldn’t really see ads at all.
Same and I’m in my mid 20’s and still remember classic slogans like Kit-Kat’s “Give me a break of that Kit-Kat bar” so that M&Ms slogan must have been retired for a long time.
