The part about not comparing their cold, dark, candlelit Christmas to our comforts bc of those comforts being earned by our many victories and they too will win their future comforts through their victory was an ASTOUNDING bit a speech crafting.

  3. Ahmad Turner says:

This was so moving in so many difference ways! To see a man who has become globally recognized for his bravery, courage; and leadership be welcomed by both parties here in the US in the midst of so much dysfunction. Go figure, it took a man like this to seemingly galvanize present politics in America to some semblance of normalcy. Rather refreshing to see

@fredfurquidit Why do think that we are Russians if we speak the truth about this guy? Do you know how many foreigners are not supporting him and the Kiev regime? There are many smart people from UK,from US,from Canada, from France, and many other countries who are not blinded by the media and their propaganda about Ukraine. I’m glad they exist!

    • fredfurquidit says:

@justin case @Napoleon Bonaparte I like the “argumentative reinforcement”. Fun to watch you Russian fellas work your magic.

@X Y Something about your amazing “hero”. The things you don’t know. 👉

Leaked documents prove that Zelensky and his inner circle have had their own network of offshore companies. Two belonging to the president’s partners were used to buy expensive property in London. The revelations come from documents in the Pandora Papers, millions of files from 14 offshore service providers leaked to the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and shared with partners around the world including OCCRP.

The documents show that Zelensky and his partners in a television production company, Kvartal 95, set up a network of offshore firms dating back to at least 2012, the year the company began making regular content for TV stations owned by Ihor Kolomoisky, an oligarch dogged by allegations of multi-billion-dollar fraud. The offshores were also used by Zelensky associates to purchase and own three prime properties in the center of London.

The documents also show that just before he was elected, he gifted his stake in a key offshore company, the British Virgin Islands-registered Maltex Multicapital Corp., to his business partner — soon to be his top presidential aide. And in spite of giving up his shares, the documents show that an arrangement was soon made that would allow the offshore to keep paying dividends to a company that now belongs to his wife.

During the campaign, the pro-Poroshenko member of parliament Ariev claimed that Zelensky and his partners were the beneficiaries of an offshore network of companies that received $41 million in payments that originated from Privatbank, the Ukrainian financial institution that the oligarch Kolomoisky is alleged to have looted. Ariev’s allegations were detailed in a chart he publicized on Facebook showing a complex web of transactions between layers of companies based in offshore havens including the BVI, Cyprus, and Belize. The chart showed money flowing from the bank via a series of apparent shell entities to companies alleged to have been owned by Zelensky and associates.

He literally changed the room for the time he was in there. Made everyone agree, made everyone laugh, amazed everyone, made the village idiots shut up, gave an uplifting, motivating inspirational speech and spread some realness, love & consciousness. What more can u ask for. That’s why he almost got more praise than most recent potuses I could think of. Easily matches Churchill’s speech before Congress and also some of FDR’s great moments. Definitely a defining moment in history.

  4. Ashley Cheechoo says:

To speak in English in front of all those people with such grace, compassion and conviction, he deserves every applause and our support. Slava Ukrani

  5. Richie Rich says:

I’m not an American but this gave me goosebumps. Pres. Zelensky is one heck of a unifying force to get that standing ovation from both dems and repubs.

    • Richie Rich says:

@Floyd You butthurt because the Ukrainians are killing the orcs using west supplied weapons?

    • Floyd says:

He’s the best money laundering scheme the Dems have

    • Dan says:

What an absolute joke this country is. Was so concerned with Ukraine’s borders meanwhile there’s people pouring in ours drugs weapons rapists and all

    • Wednesday says:

@Ignash by banning Christianity and throwing priests in jail and Ukraine? No thanks you can keep this little piece of s!(t. He’s a warmonger he’s not at the peace table. He’s the problem. Most Americans are clapping when he got on the plane plane and left.

    • Ignash says:

He united Ukraine, he can unite the United States as well.

  6. wjr Ackermann says:

What I find offensive is the fact that some in the chamber are standing up for democracy with him and for Ukraine, and the same are not standing up for our democracy and constitution here in the US… hypocrisy beyond belief.

  7. 首席陈述官 says:

During the darkest hours, facing impossible odds, UA people did not surrender, they fought and they earned the help and respect from the free loving people

  8. Shampoo Jones says:

A comedian, a politician, and a soldier walk into a bar. Bartender asks, “ What can I get for you President Zelensky?”

    • S C says:

@Bob Yost what does trump have to do with it? Lol

    • Jared M says:

You forgot to add “corrupt”. And stealing from the American people.

    • Bob Yost says:

@S C based on the fact that he has rallied his compatriots as Churchill did and despite being out gunned, and outmanned by the Russian Army, he has not only managed to stop the advancing troops, but to drive them back. The world thought Ukraine had no chance, and believed that it was a matter of time before Putin’s invasion would achieve its goals. The world was wrong. Zelynsky’s unwavering resolve in the face of impossible odds is largely responsible. THAT is the definition of excellent leadership. The right man, in the right job at the right time can do extraordinary things.

…but you already know all of this. The problem is that you are clearly a Trumper, which means that:
      1. You are easily distracted by shiny objects.
      2. Are more gullible than a developmentally challenged 3 year old.
      And…
      3. Are unable to discern truth from obvious lies.

    • S C says:

      @George Oms based on what

    • George Oms says:

      He is a great leader.

  9. Vitalii Popov says:

It’s unbelievable speech, thank you President Zelensky! Thank you Americans! 🇺🇦🇺🇸❤️

    • Мarco Johnson says:

    • Virginia Brown says:

We love you and stand with you Ukraine! Your President Zelensky is a true hero to the whole world, and is a stark contrast to the terrorist Putin.
May the USA and Ukraine move forward together as allies, partners and friends. Slava Ukraini!
      🇺🇸💕🇺🇦

  10. Jill Neeld says:

Zelinksy is not just a President, he’s a general of old- who fights With his troop. Democratic nations must support UKRAINE
