I appreciate that they’re going this dark route with the story I’m telling you it’s a breath of fresh air for a horror game.

Horror games are almost always dark, that aspect isn’t new at all.
@Steel7 i like dark games but j references to ww2 and gas chambers is kinda crossing the line (if the theory is correct)

Hey Matpat, I think you’d really enjoy the Rusty Lake series! Even if not for a theory, I’d still recommend playing it. It has got a lore I’ve been trying to crack for years.

Seeing all this, I’m just amazed how close to acurate GH’s main Poppy Playtime animations seem to be to the actual lore! Really curious to see where the canon lore goes.

Yeah, GH’s videos are pretty dark, but maybe not too far off…
Matpat is the type of guy to see a trailer and ask “is anybody gonna make a theory about this” and not wait for an answer
I honestly just think they’re attempting to recover from the whole “Poppy Playtime being marketed to children” fiasco. I’ve thought that since I saw Mommy’s death, and I’m just glad they’re making a conscious effort to push themselves back into the more mature area.
Also, I’m just gonna take a moment to lament my intrigue for World War 2 after learning about it for AN ENTIRE YEAR OF SCHOOL.
