Today we’re going up SpaceX’s Orbital Launch Tower with the ultimate tour guide, Elon Musk. He’s going to walk us around the bottom, explain how they plan to catch the booster with the chopsticks and then we’ll go up the elevator stopping at the quick disconnect and on the upper deck!

Yeah man, most people would never have the courage to ask him that. It’s like someone showing you their Bugatti and then asking if you can drive it!
AS many of us have learned in life, “if you don’t ask, the answer is no”. So you might as well ask.
Thing that strikes me most, that Tim is not even the most enthusiastic here, Elon himself is enjoying the ride he creates with his awesome team!
Thanks Tim. Even on dark days, we can remember that the first human to step onto Mars is already alive. We just don’t know who it is, yet. I’m convinced you’ll see it happen.

@Al AL Dude why? You’re comments left and right are about bashing Elon. I can’t quite his personal attributes, but he did his homework in his self teaching of astronautical engineering.
Smart people gather specialized, smart people around them. Who cares if he throws around money to give engineers exciting jobs. He’s not buying strip clubs and beer companies, while crashing his expensive import into American flag kiosks…
He’s a cool nerdy guy that made it big, and is making it bigger. Don’t hate. Just get back to work man.
