GOLD Apple Watch Under Water for 9 MONTHS! – Can i Fix it?!

We finally found the 24 carat GOLD Apple watch that Dan lost 9 months ago. His Apple watch has been soaking in deep water for almost a YEAR. Can the apple watch survive being under water for that long? Can an Apple Watch marinate in a marina for 9 months and still live? The only way to find out for sure is by tearding it down and seeing what needs to be replaced.

Our first failed attempt to find the watch: https://youtu.be/SYSikYS92_U

I like how Dan told Jake “this guy came over” and not Zack

    • Jens De Vos says:

that’s because jake probably doesn’t know zack at all, so if he had said “zack came over” jake still wouldn’t know who he was.

Yeah.. I can see that. The way you ‘pop those little Legos’ makes me recall all the bomb diffusion scenes I saw in movies..

    • Arthur Fleck says:

      Very bad profile picture

    • Hyperion says:

@Arthur Fleck Why is yours so serious? Shouldn’t you put a smile on that face?

    • Billy Joe says:

@Hyperion So I had a wife, beautiful, like you, who tells me I worry too much. Who tells me I ought to smile more. Who gambles and gets in deep with the sharks…look at me! One day, they carve her face. And we have no money for surgeries. She can’t take it. I just want to see her smile again, hmm? I just want her to know that I don’t care about the scars. So… I stick a razor in my mouth and do this to myself. And you know what? She can’t stand the sight of me! She leaves. Now I see the funny side. Now I’m always smiling!”

    Nobody:
5 minute crafts: Just place the watch in a bag of rice

    • AGUNG -eL says:

@David John then why is it working on my phone huh?? explain it einstein !!

    • ItzYaBoiCleetus says:

@David John well as an asian, rice kinda works when your speaker sucked some water but I suggest using like only bowl because the rice isn’t a god item, but I don’t like to promote 5 mins craft because the channel is the worst and it’s just cringe

    • Photography Raptor says:

@Soundarya Matrubai the rice trick will absorb any water molecules hidden inside the watch, even if it’s condensation that forms after a temperature change, due to the rice being extremely dry and wanting to level off a moisture content with whatever environment it’s in. He probably should have left it in rice before sealing the screen with glue after it was fixed. Any water molecules hidden inside will find the electrical contacts when the watch is being used, as he said when saying “but with water damage, it’s never a for sure thing”.

It’s not a “silly hack”. It’s science… So basically magic.

You can do the same moisture leveling for your too dry marijuana. Putting it in a baggy with some apple peel on one side and weed in the other side. It will be moist enough to smoke and not be wasted with “too dry to get high” in only a few hours. Although I suggest the slow way in over a day by using marshmallows.

    • Photography Raptor says:

@David John silicate gel packets work better then rice. Rice takes more hours to days.

    • Arthur Fleck says:

      Great Soundarya aunty

  19. M S says:

Jerry you could also give a voice over to any documentary, like “how it’s made” and alike! Very cool video!

Did anyone feel that Dan intentionally dropped it coz he didn’t like the gold watch and then he made a guilt trip and then all this happened! Probably thinking “phew, got to keep this watch NOW!!” 😂 no offense Dan, love your videos as well!! Keep cheering everyone up guys! Xoxo

Jerry is like a God, but for electronics. He give lives to those who have no hope of booting up.
