LOVE the hint of the classic theme in the music. This looks dope as hell. But if I opened the box my one wish would be to make this a theatrical release.

Honestly same cause this looks shelf worthy to me.

It definitely seems to be trying to be true to the spirit of the original. I’m hoping it’s as delightful as this trailer makes it out to be.

    • Jack Levy says:

Bet you can’t wait for that blue ray huh

@kID Koo Not at the Chinese. It’s premiering at the Aero in Santa Monica, where they also had screenings for “Prey” and “Barbarian”. I have tickets for the 10 pm show that night.

      * would have gone to the 7 show, but they announced the date almost a month after I’d bought tickets for a screening of “Memento” at the Academy Museum debuting a new 35mm print and I hate not using non refundable tickets.

Pinhead doesn’t grant wishes, at least in his previous incarnations.

This actually looks really good, very happy they’re sticking to practical effects and not relying on CGI.

The box hurting you the more you solve it, is just a fantastic detail. Goes to show you really want it.

    • Chuckles the Jester says:

@AxeBomber what i mean is, you can actually see moving parts, where as in the og films, it mostly just looked like a cube of wood, didnt even look like a puzzle

    • AxeBomber says:

@Chuckles the Jester This new box goes through so many different shapes, I don’t see how it could be more physically plausible than the original.

    • Zee_Profezzor says:

Yep; it opens not for hands, but desire, as we know from Hellraiser 2. You gonna keep opening the box in spite of-maybe BECAUSE of-pain, you get the appropriate response. Cannot wait, ESPECIALLY as the film goes into addiction

    • SirGarforth says:

That was always weird in the original films how easily you could trick someone into solving it. Like, at least in the first 2 they made it clear that the people who tried to solve it knew what it was but the later ones had people just accidentally solve it.

    • Benjamin Haut says:

Very excited to see the artistry and surprises of the box itself, because I felt that’s what the prior movies were lacking. I feel like this movie put a nail in it, pun intended.…

  8. Marc says:

My only gripe: this movie deserves to be watched in a theater. Very rare to find horror like this now in days

  9. Q-Z HIP HOP says:

What a sigh of relief to see that at least the movie looks visually beautiful… can’t wait to see the rest.
