Highschool GPA doesn’t determine much. Based on our school system it’s catered towards regurgitation and not true understanding or creativity. I had a valedictorian who scored a perfect on his SAT going to engineering school with me. He couldn’t handle the 2nd engineering class and switched to Hotel Management. Me, a barely 3.0 highschool GPA’er, fkin plowed thru engineering school. No im not bragging. I think i got lucky in a sense that if you put a fish in a pond or a monkey in a tree, they each will excel while the same can’t be said when you switch their habitats. Hence the case of the valedictorian

So, wait, I got a 1.8 gpa in High School. Does that mean I’ll be a billionaire?!

    1 dislike, poor smart guy

  6. Shuwei Li says:

1% low GPA kids who don’t follow the rule become millionaires, then the rest claim themselves to be “CREATIVE”.

    Losers’ excuse

BTW, money alone is certainly not a good dimension to measure a person’s success. Not to mention money made by people who don’t follow the rule. Drugs dealers make lots of money, and they don’t follow the rule, for example.

On other hands, scientists don’t necessary make lots of money, but they contribute a lot to human society than some of the internet or instagram sensation that your kids follow.

Don’t always think about making easy money, think how you can contribute to this society. After all, all these billionaires who founded these big IT companies went to Ivy League colleges. They may have dropped half way, but they were smart enough to get in.

  7. Stanley Chang says:

Are you sure it’s not because most people have around average GPA so, the average millionaire would statistically come from the average GPA group?

  8. Sarah Porter says:

For the love of god, please don’t pay any attention to what he said in the video. Study your butt off at university to get the highest mark possible. Doesn’t matter if there are compulsory subjects you absolutely HATE, but have to take to finish your course. Study and study again and more, again. You don’t know what regrets you’ll have when you’re older during your college years (I’m talking under 25 years of age), but if you don’t apply yourself and get the best mark possible, you absolutely will regret it. So, stop paying attention to people who tell you that you only need to get a pass grade, because it’s total bullshit.

My high school GPA was 3.2. I now have a BS in nuclear engineering, am in medical school and just bought an Audi R8 V10.
    Fuck your 4.0.

Halfway through Mechanical Engineering and I sit at a 2.98…looks like I gotta slack off ever so slightly

  11. Marco Alvarez says:

Before feeding your lazy fantasies most millionaires do well both in following rules in college and not following rules in life.

  12. John Snook says:

Can the majority of people who claim to be rich in the comments section shut the fuck up. Millionares and billionaires don’t leave retarded comments on YouTube.

  13. Rene Lizarraga says:

while that may be true, the vast majority of those with low HS gpa’s are low wage earners.

  14. Hans Hoerdemann says:

And a lot of billionaires don’t study because their Daddy made them a billionaire.

  15. User name says:

Don’t make this an excuse for having a low GPA…

  16. Sal C says:

I went to school with a kid. His GPA was very low. He ultimately grew up to get shot in the face. The end.

  17. B.M.D says:

You guys shouldn’t have released this video. Your making idiots think they have an easy chance of becoming successful (proof is the comments)
