Hermitcraft 9 Episode 2: Expanding The TreeHouse & SURPRISE!
Hermitcraft season 9 episode 2! We start out big with our Minecraft let’s play ep 2 on the Hermitcraft 9 server with a massive starter treehouse base. The design of the survival base will be elven-themed. Once we complete the treehouse, I’ll build my dream Minecraft build.
We start the episode by showing my new custom Elf ears off and going caving for diamonds with Grian. We test how best to get diamonds in Minecraft 1.18. Also, I build my starter base inside my elven-themed treehouse base. Hope you enjoy the episode and see you in the next Hermitcraft video to finish the base!

Mining 1.18 mine at -56 it is deepslate but every 20-30 blocks there is a diamond vein
The ears are great. But, they won’t work. The matador meme has caught on with too many hermits, and they’ll keep it going all season. Expect related pranks, soon. The tree is looking amazing, btw. A top tier starter base, if ever there was one. I’m really loving this season of everyone starting out near spawn, because we get so many random interactions with people. I hope your own recovery is still progressing well. Thanks for another wonderfully fun video. By the way, we all know you by now. So, we all know that the enchantments and totems from iEnchant will not make much difference in your death count this season. Frequent, easily avoidable deaths are kind of your brand, along with amazing builds. 🤠👍

I love how scar has a theme every season. Also I’ve been watching him for about 8 years now. He got me into Minecraft, and his How to Build a House series, from 8 years ago, is the house in my survival world. Thanks Scar!

– I think the back is prettier, even with the eyes—you’re living inside a friendly ent who will keep the creepers and phantoms away.
– The elf ears are wonderful—and you can even save them to do a Star Trek base in a future season, because they’ll make equally wonderful Vulcan ears.

The ears: unsettling, huge, strange, possibly a waste of protection, 1000/10 absolutely love them
