Ignore Emilian Rodriguez, please. This person is obviously trying to make people angry and directing it to China. Please report him for spreading hate. I’m Chinese and I’m extremely happy and proud for Gold Medalist Hidilyn Diaz to win. I teared up because we all know she worked hard for it!

@Emiliano Rodriguez doesn’t matter how many medals you got in the pass. What matters who won it in this Olympic. She beat China’s player. That’s all that matters now.

I got teary-eyed and I’m American. This is the kind of story I love about the Olympics. I don’t care about the sports or athletes that are shoo-ins to win. I get bored with the US, Russia, and China (plus a few others) always winning. I want to see more of this.

    • Jony Chica says:

i cried too. I am so happy for your country. congratulations!!!

  7. UserInterface00 says:

FUN FACT: The Philippine Olympic committee didn’t give funding to support Hidilyn. She did it on her own to fund the trip. In return, she gave the country their first Gold medal in nearly 100yrs of trying since their first Olympics in France -1924.

Fun fact: she had to fundraise in order to go participate in the Olympics since the Philippines did not support her. She also trained with water jugs due to lack of access to proper equipment. What a fucking queen.
