The men with the bagpipes walking away…going into the distance as the man read his piece ……just beautiful…pure genius

My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a beloved family member. I’ve lost both of my parents. You never stop missing them

Having her personal bagpipe player walk away while playing her requested song was an outstanding way for her reign and her final journey to officially end. The music fading away is so moving it makes your heart skip a beat. Now you may rest with your family. God Save The King.

To the world she was the Queen. But, for Charles, the agony of losing his mom was so evident. God bless him and all of the family.

It was so touching and emotional, I am really impressed by the absolute order dignity and sad tenderness of the entire ceremony.

HM Charles III almost lost it as she was lowered and then during the anthem. You see the tear welling in his eyes. That will always stick with me as the moment it started to hit him. Hopefully he reaches out to his sons, they’ve been through this. No matter how old you are when a boy loses his mom it breaks him. Peace be with him and his entire family tonight.

@Dan Gowler I agree, it’s never easy no matter your background. I lost my mother the year before Covid, and Daddy the following year during Covid. They started dating as teenagers and were married 70 years; stuck it out through Daddy serving in Korea, getting a masters, and having 4 children.
I took care of them the last 10 years and there is nothing easy about losing your grandparents and parents. It changes your world … 😢🕇⚘🔩

The lowering of the coffin as a lone bagpiper walks away and the music fading as he distanced is such a heartbreaking and moment. See it as symbolizing ‘alone one comes to this world and alone one leaves in a beautiful way. A beautiful and meaningful send off to the Queen.

This feels so surreal. The queen has been the queen for so long. My entire life, even my parent’s entire life. Hard to believe

My heart breaks for the family, she was Queen to the world but Mummy to them. At no age, whether 3 or 73, does it not break your heart to say your final goodbye to your Mum 💔 May she rest easy, with her loved ones gone before, and watch over her beloved family & country 💗
