I still believe that as popular as Mel Brooks is, he truly isnt as appreciated as he should be as a creator. He does satire unlike any other!

  2. MOVIE EDGE says:

Mel Brooks is still relevant !We need his sense of humor now more than ever 🙏🏻

  3. Timothy Fasano says:

This looks really fun. Very much in the spirit of the original, and you can tell how excited all these actors are to be working in Brooks’ sandbox.

  4. Isaac Buckley says:

Wow, it’s so cool to see Mel Brooks still working and smiling in his 90s!

  5. Kyle Tobin says:

I’m literally speechless yet laughing hard at the obvious fact its been over 40+ years since the first film. And yet the new cast just make it work already

  6. Acoustic Gamer says:

Mel Brooks is a national treasure. I’m really looking forward to this

You can really feel the love of the last several generations of comedy saying, YES, PLEASE! at the chance to be in a Mel Brooks film.

  8. Paganavenger89 says:

I can’t believe that Mel Brooks really wanted to do a Part II of History of the World Part I and now we got the real thing.

@aceshighdueceslow Having seen that animated series, I’d consider Adam Sandler on SNL doing Opera Man funny compared to it.

    • aceshighdueceslow says:

@paul eric lagace I was trying to be charitable. The matrix sequels gave us things like the highway fight scene, or the mech suits in Zion. Spaceballs: The Animated Series was a late 00s flash animated piece of garbage that I didn’t get past 4 episodes of. I could think of some Newgrounds or early YouTube series that had better jokes

    • paul eric lagace says:

@aceshighdueceslow it was much, much worse, than “awful”.

Similar to how there never was a matrix 2, or 3. Ever.

    • aceshighdueceslow says:

@paul eric lagace we already got that, it was called Spaceballs: The Animated Series and it was, uh, not great

    • paul eric lagace says:

Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money CANT be far behind!!!!

  9. Brent Scott says:

I was just watching the original last night!! God I love Mel Brooks.

  10. Derek Watches Movies says:

We are so lucky to still have Mel Brooks! Cherish this moment.
