I was thinking of going with Cyndaquil or Oshawott since their my generation favorites, but now I think I’ll go with Rowlett this time. That regional variant of Decidueye just looks totally boss!

THAT one might have indeed been inspired by Groudon/Kyogre, though..
I can see the similarity with the wild pokemon theme, but it’s definitely done to be more similar to the Gen 3 Legendary theme, especially when you take into account the exact timing it starts at.
All 3 are definitely done with the same style in mind though, so you can say it’s inspired by either.
I really appreciate that they’re leaving the rest of the pokemon for us to discover, makes things a lot more fun!

as how excited I am exploring the other unrevealed Pokémon, such as the final evolution here, I’m also excited to explore the area of Hisui
that temple looks so great, I love the detail like how the other Braviary fly around when we glide over the sky, et cetera

I remember watching the gameplay trailer looking a bit lacklustre on the experience the game offered, however this trailer showed so much more of the world of Hisui that I’m finally super excited for this!

@KhalilsLife The animation on X & Y was definitely top tier but its the same art style as Diamond and Pearl the story on Diamond and Pearl was just more intriguing to me as well

Glad to see that we’re actually being shown even a glimpse of a starter’s final evolution before release, I don’t recall the last time that’s happened but it’s a welcome change. Maybe it’ll help incentivize people to choose new starters instead of their favorites based on the new designs or typings.
