Which tribe from Wakanda is your favorite? The Jabari, Border Tribe, Golden Tribe, River Tribe, Mining Tribe, or Merchant Tribe?

One: Speak up and join the conversation- we encourage respectful debate.
Two: Respect your community- racism, misogyny, homophobia and hate speech aren’t tolerated.
Three: “Be nice.” – Dalton from Roadhouse

Please say: Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
Where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

    • Fran Vidal says:

In a secret kingdom with one city… What and with Who merchant the merchant tribe?

    • THE57 DOCTOR says:

There is no golden tribe unless you were trying to say the panther tribe

    • Lord Farquaad says:

Jabari are the coolest tribe because they are mischievous warriors who are also very interested in helping out. Also I love the dog war cry.

    • Aysha Chowdhury says:

      I don’t have of them

“Quick make him choke an old lady so i know who to root for” AHAHAHAHAHA

    • ferd617 says:

And it’s totally spot-on, because for all the “Killmonger was totally right!” setup (and he _totally_ was, every problem he had with Wakanda and the royal family was **entirely** reasonable and valid), they still make damn sure he evolves into an _actual_ villain over the course of act 2. He may have started out in the right, but a quick heel-turn via some inexcusable acts (choke some innocent Wakandan citizens, order a few crops torched purely out of spite) and all that moral high ground he was standing on just tumbles right into the sea.

    • Nef22 says:

ferd617 you mean being racist is higher moral ground now?

    • Pouya Soufi says:

well he said help the world, not necessarily enslave/kill the white people

    • ken rodriguez says:

Pouya Soufi if you mean helping the world via conquering and slaughtering all who oppose then sure he helped it.

    • Marzuqa Nuha Kazi says:

Pouya Soufi did you even see the movie properly . Killmonger had radical ideas based on hatred and revenge. He himself stated he scarred himself everytime he killed a person. Did you realize if killmonger won he woulf take revenge and do what the whites in history did to blacks. Not hating on killmonger or bp but this is basically what his motives were he was just sympathic because he had a tragic backstory if he didnt he’d be another stereotyped violent black person made by hollywood

  7. J335H says:

Buster Bluth, that one was too good lmao

  8. Andybiotic says:

Killmonger was dong the wrong things for the right reasons, T’Challa was doing the right things for the wrong reasons but he was willing to change so he would do the right thing for the right reasons. And that is why he won.

    • Luke Lim says:

Fazle Rabbi but killmonger choose death. tchalla offered to heal him.

    • George says:

How was Killmonger doing it for the right reasons?

    • Marzuqa Nuha Kazi says:

Andybiotic killmonger’s whole plan was based on feeling of hatred and revenge , divide and rule. He was a radical extremist . Giving hi tech weapons of wakanda to black people doesn’t liberate them . It makes them a bigger threat and encourages more violence and prejudice.

    • Kar stodes says:

Mmm… No. Kill Monger was doing the WRONG things for the WRONG reasons.

    • Acceleration Gate says:

Err no. He won because he knew about the Sonic field’s disabling effect on the suits

  9. Pakorn Wattanavrangkul says:

Great story?!? Ahhhh, no. That had to be one of the most cliched plot ive seen. I dont hate the movie, id give it a a 6 or 7, but honestly, was anything in that movie original? Lets not forget that we somehow ended up with the climatic fight between two men, both clad in black, fighting in a dark area.

    • crocbattle07 says:

As far as Marvel films go, I would say the story was on the same level as Winter Soldier and Civil War (you know the kind of movie that focuses more on story than slapstick comedy).

    • Pakorn Wattanavrangkul says:

In tone maybe, but Id argue the quality of writing is better in those two films you mentioned. This film seems confused as to what tone it wants, the serious parts are ok but many of the jokes, especially with the sister go nowhere, like the sneakers.

    • crocbattle07 says:

There are two possible reasons why Suri jokes were bad:
      1. She is a person who spends more time tinkering and inventing and has no real social skills (look at the way she talks to most people) and learned most of what she knows from the internet (hence the dated meme)
      2. Bad writing

    • Wryse says:

considering all the comedy was crap in this move, ye its the writing that sucks

    • Morgan Murphy says:

I actually thought the story was its highlight, that and the world visuals. But jeez that cgi at times was brutal, the final fight scene was garbo, and it had some painfully predictable moments. Like when t’challa ‘died’ and all the characters are sad and we’re supposed to be sad with them. Like why? we all know hes not dead lmao

  10. Acceleration Gate says:

The movie is overhyped. We got to see some awesome character development from BP in Civil War, but you could barely feel his presence in his own Movie. You could literally insert any other person into his costume and no one would notice the difference… because there would be none.

    • Grace Gary says:

      Literally Figuratively this

    • DoctorXander says:

Acceleration Gate His arc was super compelling in Civil War I think, they just didn’t try hard enough to do another one

    • Illjay says:

BP actually had a personality in Civil War. In his own movie he was so tame that he became completely forgettable. I thought his sister and the guard lady were much more interesting in every way. They showed personality, interests and opinions while BP was couldn’t get his mouth open most of the time. He almost felt like a different character from the one in Civil War.

    • Acceleration Gate says:

Guggle Bum And I suppose your cause is noble and superior to mine because you don’t want “a few likes on the internet”? Don’t kid yourself. T’Challa was a very weak character in this movie. No one needs “internet likes” to know that.

    • Gutfried Von Guttenberg says:

      +Sean Gary: same

  12. mr. man says:

actual rating: 6/10 typical marvel film, political rating: 10/10 omg im in tears, this film is so important for the bla bla bla

    • mr. man says:

just because I have a different opinion from you doesn’t mean im crying, but the fact that you took the time to leave the comment makes it clear that you got annoyed about it 😉

    • Justin Bergeron says:

The movie made millions because many black people seen the movie multiple times. The movie was just average

    • Joshua Horn says:

Justin Bergeron I mean that argument is kinda a reach too ik when iron man came out plenty of people watched it several times over again since it was iron Man I think it’s more of BP fans wanting to see BP again and again but there are some people who watch it since it’s an all black cast

    • Sabri Gaddari says:

mr. man great movie definitely overhyped though, I’d give it a solid 8

    • Gutfried Von Guttenberg says:

      +Mprgan Murphy
I asked 2 black friends aswell and bouth said that it wasn´t that good
The marvel fan still thought if is a good movie
the other one meant it was a waste of time&money and that she sould have had some drinks in that time insteat

  13. Kim André Charles says:

Queue the ‘this movie wasn’t that good’ comments from the colonizers

  14. Da Juiceman says:

I don’t get the whole “just another marvel movie” argument, how does BP have anything in common to Ant-Man or Ragnarok?

    • THE GAMING TITAN says:

First, ant-man wasn’t a Typical movie…it was really unique and rare(I guess), the common thing between Ragnarok and BP is the actual plot,” a king/prince who loses his father, who is rightful to be king gets disgraced by a (far relative/close) and the hero finds a way to come comeback and kill his relative

    • L. T C. says:

Parts of it are very quintsentially Marvel like the ending fight scene, having a old/dead father figure not be as great as once thought, after credit scenes.
But other parts are it’s own thing like the African culture, the more adult story and everything else really. It’s half and half I’d say between it’s own movie and marvel movie.

    • ZeAmazingAce says:

Da Juiceman the Black Panther is just a man in a high tech suit… sound familiar?

    • pokechatter says:

ZeAmazingAce Technically his abilities aren’t limited to his suit, but the same ideas do hold.

    • Acceleration Gate says:

Ragnarok came out first. BP is just a clone. Inferior to what it tries to imitate. Don’t @ me.

  17. Obi-Wan Kenobi says:

I think Zemo deserves to be considered as a “quality villain”.

    • Alex Sander says:

Zemo was a bit boring and his plan convoluted but he was defiantly better then Hela. Claw is in the list because he had the most entertaining personality of all the villains.    Thor ragnarok was amazing because of the character interactions but Hela was very typical marvel villain honestly when I think of that movie every other character comes to mind before her and that includes the silent bug.

    • Mista Z says:

I view him more as a quality instigator

    • Mista Z says:

Zemo was actually good. Without him the plot of civil war would not move along

    • LEARN MORE says:

      I swear you are EVERYWHERE
